At Natuaventura Ocio y Tiempo Libre we have been organising school trips for over fifteen years, and we offer the possibility of funding the trip 100% through a raffle ticket sales system. This system gives every pupil in a year group who is taking part in the trip a book of raffle tickets whose total sales value is equivalent to the cost of each place on the trip. In this way, participants (whether primary, secondary, or university students) can sell the tickets to their friends, family, and acquaintances. The prize offered on the ticket is a personal computer or a television, chosen by the holder of the winning ticket, to the value of \u20ac1,000.<\/p>\n

Selling raffle tickets is one of the most common ways of funding school trips, but there are other similar methods such as auctions and competitions. Another great idea is to hold a party. The pupils themselves are responsible for organising it, and it can be held at the school if permission is granted, or at a venue hired for the occasion. Parties are popular and very enjoyable ways of raising money for the school trip. Moreover, all the fundraising ideas we have been exploring can be incorporated into the event.
