The Madrid Multi-adventure Camp<\/strong> takes place in the Sierra Norte de Madrid<\/strong>, in the village of Manjir\u00f3n<\/strong>, without needing to leave the Community of Madrid. A programme designed for boys and girls aged 6 to 17 who want a summer of outdoor sport, group games and excursions through some of the most beautiful spots in the Madrid mountains.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where the Camp Takes Place<\/h2>\n

The camp is based at the Albergue Sierra Norte<\/strong>, located at Av. del Villar, 48, Manjir\u00f3n (Madrid)<\/strong>. The grounds cover 20,000 square metres of wooded, fenced land<\/strong>, renovated in 2013, with facilities built specifically for residential camps, allowing many activities to take place within the site itself.<\/p>\n

From 6 to 17 years old, divided into age groups so that each participant finds activities suited to their level.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1\u201314 July. Price: \u20ac698. Departures from Madrid (Civitas Metropolitano) and Las Rozas (Navalcarb\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

16\u201329 July. Price: \u20ac678. Same departure and return stops as the first fortnight.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Ratio and Group Size<\/h3>\n

1 activity leader per 8 participants and a maximum of 40\u201350 campers per group.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

A Typical Day in Manjir\u00f3n<\/h2>\n

Morning multi-adventure activity:<\/strong> climbing on the Albergue Sierra Norte’s own climbing wall, archery in designated areas within the site, zip line or games on the hostel’s football pitch.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Midday:<\/strong> 4 meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner) with the camp’s own kitchen, home-cooked food and menus adapted for allergies and intolerances. Indoor and outdoor dining areas within the hostel.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Afternoon at the pool or playing:<\/strong> almost daily visits to Manjir\u00f3n’s municipal swimming pool<\/strong>, 200 metres from the hostel. On non-pool days: workshops, gymkhanas or large games in the hostel’s green areas.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Big days out:<\/strong> Humor Amarillo day with an inflatable circuit and giant constructions, an excursion to Parque Warner Madrid<\/strong>, an excursion to the Atazar Reservoir<\/strong> and swimming in the natural pools of the R\u00edo Sequillo<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Evening activity:<\/strong> after dinner, a themed evening prepared by the activity leaders team. Then rest in the hostel’s wooden cabins.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Being in Manjir\u00f3n, in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Madrid, allows participants to experience a camp in full nature without families having to face a long journey.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

A full day out at one of Madrid’s best-known theme parks, with rides, shows and iconic film characters.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Excursions to Sierra Norte water environments: the Atazar Reservoir and the natural pools of the R\u00edo Sequillo, one of the largest natural swimming areas in Madrid.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Manjir\u00f3n’s municipal pool is 200 metres from the hostel, allowing almost daily visits to cool off and combine swimming with group games.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
