The Sierra Madrid English Camp<\/strong> is a summer camp with 100% English immersion<\/strong> held at the Albergue Sierra Norte de Manjiron<\/strong>, in the heart of the Sierra Norte de Madrid. It combines multi-adventure activities, excursions through the surrounding area and a methodology in which English is the working language of daily life, delivered by a team of activity leaders with a C1 level or above, bilingual or native speakers.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Where the camp takes place<\/h2>\n

The camp is based at the Albergue Sierra Norte<\/strong>, located at Av. del Villar, 48, Manjiron (Madrid)<\/strong>. It is a 20,000-square-metre wooded, fenced estate<\/strong>, renovated in 2013, with dedicated multi-adventure facilities and a dining room with capacity for 120. The Manjiron municipal swimming pool is 200 metres away, and the Atazar Reservoir and the natural pools of the Río Sequillo are part of the programme’s excursions.<\/p>\n

Ages<\/h3>\n

From 6 to 17, divided into groups by age so that each participant finds activities and conversation suited to their level.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

1st Fortnight<\/h3>\n

1–14 July. Price: 798 €. Departure from Madrid (Civitas Metropolitano) and Las Rozas (Navalcarbón).<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

2nd Fortnight<\/h3>\n

16–29 July. Price: 768 €. Same departure and return stops as the 1st Fortnight.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

August Ten-Day Session<\/h3>\n

1–10 August. Price: 598 €. An additional ten-day session for those who prefer a slightly shorter stay in August.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How the English immersion works<\/h2>\n

The working language throughout the entire stay is English<\/strong>: during multi-adventure activities, workshops, mealtimes, gymkhanas and evening events. The activity leader team consists of people with a C1 level or above<\/strong>, bilingual or native speakers, who maintain the language naturally at every moment of the day. In exceptional circumstances (illness, personal issues) participants may communicate in Spanish with their key activity leader.<\/p>\n

Cluedo<\/h3>\n

An investigation game around the hostel and village, in which teams solve the case by interacting in English with costumed activity leaders.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Trivial Contest<\/h3>\n

A team quiz in English with categories adapted to the ages of the participants.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Scavenger Hunt<\/h3>\n

A treasure hunt in English with clues, challenges and tasks throughout the hostel grounds and surrounding area.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

English all day long<\/h3>\n

The language is integrated into daily routines: mealtimes, assemblies, transitions between activities. No formal lessons — just the naturalness of real use.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
