What are end-of-year school trips?<\/h2>\n

End-of-year school trips<\/strong> are educational leisure stays undertaken by school groups away from their school or college. They typically involve travelling to a location of tourist or natural interest where the group spends 2 to 5 days<\/strong> together, taking part in activities that complement classroom learning: teamwork, independence, respect, community living and contact with the natural environment.<\/p>\n

Although they were historically associated with the end of a key stage (Year 6 of primary school or Year 11 equivalent), today end-of-year school trips take place across all year groups<\/strong>, from Year 1 of primary school through to Sixth Form, with the programme and destination adapted to the age of the group.<\/p>\n

\nFrom what age can a school trip be organised?<\/summary>\n
We organise trips from Year 1 of primary school (ages 6\u20137). For the youngest children we recommend short stays of 2\u20133 days to nearby destinations such as Madrid Sierra Norte (from \u20ac133 per pupil). From Year 4 of primary school onwards, all destinations are suitable.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nHow long does a school trip last?<\/summary>\n
The most common duration is 3 to 5 days. For primary school, 2\u20133 days is most typical. For secondary school and Sixth Form, 4\u20135 days allows the destination to be properly explored. We also organise one-day excursions for groups who prefer a shorter option.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nDoes the price include transport?<\/summary>\n
Yes. All our prices include coach transport to and from the school, accommodation, full board (all meals), the programme’s activities and 24h activity leaders. There are no additional costs other than optional personal expenses.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhat is the difference between a trip with activity leaders and one without?<\/summary>\n
With 24h activity leaders, the team manages all activities, evening entertainment and overnight supervision while pupils sleep. Teachers accompany the group but can take a rest. Without activity leaders, it is the teachers or parents themselves who are responsible for managing the group at all times.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nHow is a school trip booking managed?<\/summary>\n
The process is straightforward: you contact our team, we suggest destination and programme options based on the characteristics of the group, you receive a detailed no-obligation quote and, if you accept it, we handle everything. We can also visit the school to make a presentation to families or the head teacher.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
