What are end-of-year school trips?<\/h2>\n

End-of-year school trips<\/strong> are educational leisure stays undertaken by groups of pupils away from their school. They typically involve travelling to a destination of tourist or natural interest where the group lives together for 2 to 5 days<\/strong>, developing activities that complement classroom learning: teamwork, independence, mutual respect, shared living and contact with the environment.<\/p>\n

Although historically associated with end-of-stage milestones (final year of primary or the end of GCSE years), today end-of-year trips take place across all year groups<\/strong>, from Year 1 all the way through to Sixth Form, with the programme and destination adapted to the age of the group.<\/p>\n

\nFrom what age can an end-of-year school trip be organised?<\/summary>\n
We organise trips from Year 1 (6-7 years). For the youngest pupils we recommend short stays of 2-3 days at nearby destinations such as Madrid Sierra Norte (from 133€ per pupil). From Year 4 of primary school, all destinations are suitable.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nHow long does an end-of-year school trip last?<\/summary>\n
The most common duration is 3 to 5 days. For primary school, 2-3 days is the most usual. For GCSE years and Sixth Form, 4-5 days allows the destination to be enjoyed more fully. We also organise single-day excursions for groups that prefer a shorter option.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nDoes the price include transport?<\/summary>\n
Yes. All our prices include coach transport to and from school, accommodation, full board, activities included in the programme and 24-hour activity leaders. There are no additional costs apart from optional personal expenses.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nWhat is the difference between a trip with activity leaders and one without?<\/summary>\n
With 24-hour activity leaders, the team manages all activities, evening entertainment and overnight supervision while the pupils sleep. Teachers accompany the group but can rest. Without leaders, teachers or parents are responsible for managing the group at all times.<\/div>\n<\/details>\n
\nHow is the booking of an end-of-year school trip managed?<\/summary>\n
The process is straightforward: you contact our team, we propose destination and programme options based on your group’s profile, you receive a detailed quote with no obligation, and if you accept it we handle everything.
