If we have already covered what a technology camp is, this article goes into more detail: the four activity modules<\/strong> that structure the technology side of our TechnoCamp and how time is divided across the fortnight. This is not about \u00abhaving screens at camp\u00bb \u2014 it is about programming, building, printing and creating with purpose.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Four modules for a fortnight<\/h2>\n

The camp’s technology activities are organised into four main blocks. Each participant goes through all of them over the course of the camp, spending approximately half a day on the technical content and combining it with classic camp activities (swimming pool, games, treasure hunts, workshops, evening activities).<\/p>\n

1. Robotics<\/h3>\n

Programming bq-type boards, building robots with Lego and, depending on the group, assembling basic drones and mini robot competitions. This is the module that best combines hands and code.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

2. Video game programming<\/h3>\n

Participants design their own video games using Scratch at beginner level, with a first introduction to Python or JavaScript for more advanced groups.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

3. 3D design and printing<\/h3>\n

One of the most eagerly anticipated activities: each participant designs their own piece and takes it home printed. A direct connection between what you imagine and what physically exists.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

4. Audiovisual projects<\/h3>\n

Stop-motion animation and a first introduction to virtual reality. Technology turned into a tool for storytelling and experimenting with image.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

How the day is divided<\/h2>\n

Technical morning:<\/strong> participants work on one of the four modules in the camp’s equipped classroom, in small groups by level.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Midday and free time:<\/strong> lunch, supervised rest, outdoor games. Screens are switched off: bodies are on the move.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Classic camp afternoon:<\/strong> swimming pool, treasure hunts, non-digital workshops, sport. The part that connects with any other summer camp.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

\n

Evening programme:<\/strong> themed evening, no screens, with performances, cooperative games or outdoor cinema. Technology stays in the classroom.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
