Summer camp in Mozambique: for only 10 €, a child from Xai-Xai can enjoy the whole summer camp in Khanimambo ation.
When booking one of our summer camps, check the box «DONACIÓN MOZAMBIQUE» and you will contribute with 5 € to the Khanimambo Summer Camp. Natuaventura will add the 5 € left.

Khanimambo Summer Camp.

Fundación Khanimambo has been working to improve the children’s quality of life in Praia de Xai-Xai since 2007. Besides meeting their nutrition, education and health needs, the ation wants the more than 300 children to fully enjoy their lives, and game is basic for that.

Therefore, since 2011 Natuaventura participates in this project through funding and since 2014 some of our counsellors run every year this summer camp in Mozambique. You can collaborate with this project very easily, it will be a great help for the children from Praia de Xai-Xai.

How to help

For only 10 € a child from Xai-Xai can enjoy a whole summer camp in Khanimambo ation.

We’ve been funding this summer camp for 5 years and we want to keep doing it. We count on you!

Objectives of the project

  • Promoting fun and amusement.
  • Giving the children of one of the most disadvantaged regions of the world the opportunity to play.
  • Encouraging team work and integration, teaching children to interact through activities and games.
  • Boosting personal development: creation, creativity, participation and expression
  • Fostering the children’s autonomy.

Location

The summer camp is run in the Centro Munti, home to the Khanimambo ation. It is located in Praia de Xai-Xai, a coastal village 200 km to the North of Maputo, nearby the city of Xai-Xai.
