Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle to travel to nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance, to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that has one group leader per 15 participants. We also have extra organisational staff, such as the coordinator, and direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leader team and coordinator sleep at the accommodation and watch over the children 24 hours a day.

On all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure to communicate to the kitchen team when preparing the menu. We select accommodation with balanced menus and, according to the school’s request, we can provide 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry – they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW – it is a priority for us and if we know about it we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash the clothes they need. On the kit list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it safe and giving it to them at each scheduled dose. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will obtain it for them, after a doctor’s visit or having spoken with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. The trips include accident insurance but we will use the card if they need to see a doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We have transport from the school and for travel to activities when necessary.

This decision should be made by the school in question. For our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be informed if there is any incident.

There are no additional expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money to occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar during excursions.

It depends on the accommodation; rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, teachers may organise the rooms or the children themselves can do so upon arrival.
