Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle available to go to nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team where there is one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the coordinator and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The team of group leaders and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and keep an eye on the children 24 hours a day.

On all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances prior to departure, to communicate to the venue’s kitchen team when preparing the menu. We choose accommodations with a balanced menu and, at the school’s request, we can provide 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us, and once we know about it we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever clothing they need. In the packing list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid situations like this.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it and giving it to them at each scheduled dose. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit — if they need any other medicine, we will take care of providing it after a visit to the doctor, or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the card if they need to see a doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for travel to activities where necessary.

This decision must be made by the school in question. On our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency phone number, and you will always be kept informed if there is any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money for the occasional purchase during excursions — an ice cream, sweets, or something similar.

It depends on the accommodation; rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, teachers may organise the room assignments or the children themselves can decide upon arrival.
