How to choose between the two

If you want a classic Spanish-language camp

Madrid Multi-Adventure. Same hostel, same activities, without the language element. Ideal for a first camp or when English is not a priority.

If you want real English

Sierra Madrid English Camp. 100% immersion, activity leaders at C1+. The option for those who want to combine a summer camp with a serious boost in English.

If you need an August session

Only the Sierra Madrid English Camp has a ten-day session from 1 to 10 August (€598). Madrid Multi-Adventure operates in July only.

Frequently asked questions

Can children attend from age 6?

Yes. The minimum age for both camps is 6. Groups are formed by age range, so young children are with peers of the same age.

How long does it take to get from Madrid to the camp?

The coach leaves Civitas Metropolitano at 10:00 and arrives at the hostel at around 13:30. It is approximately 75 km from central Madrid, in the Sierra Norte area (Manjirón).

Do children need a certain level of English to join the English camp?

No minimum level is required. Activity leaders adapt vocabulary to the age group. The aim is to overcome the fear of speaking and to develop listening comprehension, not to pass an exam.

Are rooms mixed gender?

No. Rooms and bathrooms are separated by gender. The cabins have bunk beds and individual showers.

Can Madrid Multi-Adventure be combined with another camp?

Yes, some families book the first fortnight in Manjirón and the second fortnight at another destination in the catalogue (Cantabria, Ávila, Cuenca or Alicante). This is a common choice for only children or when families want a longer camp summer.
