Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle available to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that has one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional coordination staff, including the coordinator and our direct contact at the Madrid office. The group leader team and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and keep watch over the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips, we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure so we can communicate it to the catering team at the facility when planning the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, depending on the school’s request, we can provide 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, a snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu that is as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are made aware we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever they need. In the packing list we ask for varied clothing to avoid this type of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their group leader (together with their teacher) will be responsible for keeping it and administering it at each dose you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit — if they need any other medicine we will arrange to provide it, after a medical visit or after speaking with you if it is a minor matter.

Each child must bring their health card. The trips include accident insurance, but we will use the card if a visit to the doctor is needed for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for travel to activities when required.

This decision should be made by the school in question. For our part, we do not recommend it, nor is it necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed if there is any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money so they can occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar on the excursions.

It depends on the accommodation, but rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on the school’s preference, either the teachers can decide how rooms are arranged, or the children can sort this themselves upon arrival.
