Frequently Asked Questions

We have a health centre in Talayuelas, 10 km from the facilities, and a general hospital in Requena, 40 minutes away, as well as an emergency assistance service provided by our insurance to respond to any situation.

We work with a team that has one group leader for every 8 participants. We also have extra organisational staff, including the camp coordinator and other support personnel. The team of group leaders and the coordinator live at the facility and are on hand for the children 24 hours a day.

All our camps have an on-site kitchen team. We prepare a balanced menu adapted to each day’s activities. We always serve 4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry – they will have an adapted menu as close as possible to what the other children are eating. If your child tells you during the camp that they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW – it is a priority for us and we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash whatever they need. The kit list asks for varied clothing for every day of the camp.

If your child needs to take any medication, their cabin/room group leader will be responsible for keeping it safe and giving it to them at each scheduled dose. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit – if they need any other medicine, we will provide it after a doctor’s visit or after speaking with you if it is a minor matter.

Each child must bring their health card, which we will collect on arrival at the camp. The camp includes accident insurance, but we will use the health card for any visit to the doctor due to a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We offer transport from Madrid and Las Rozas.

Yes, children may bring a mobile phone, but they will not have it with them day to day. We will give them the phone to call home every 3–4 days. These calls can be made with their own phone or with phones we provide. A mobile phone is not necessary. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency number and will always be kept informed of any incidents.

The camp is all-inclusive, but children may bring a small amount of pocket money for drinks or snacks on excursions.

Each day, campers have free time to enjoy the camp in their own way and spend time with friends. This time is usually between lunch and dinner. During this time the group leaders remain on hand, and optional activities such as sports games are available.

Rooms and cabins sleep between 4 and 14 children. We organise sleeping arrangements by speaking with the children on the first day after ice-breaker games. We aim to place children with others of similar age and, where possible, with friends they arrived with. If they don’t know anyone, don’t worry – we handle it. Cabins/rooms are not mixed; boys and girls sleep separately.

Please call us to arrange any visits. On the return home, the child may be collected by a parent, or a person designated by you and authorised in writing prior to collection.
