Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle available to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance policies to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team in which there is one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional coordination staff, such as the trip coordinator and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leader team and coordinator stay at the accommodation and are on hand for the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances prior to departure, which we share with the catering team at the venue for menu preparation. We select accommodation with balanced menus and, upon request from the school, we can arrange 4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry — they will receive an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and we will resolve it immediately once we are informed.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever they need. In the packing list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader in collaboration with their teacher will be responsible for keeping it safe and administering each dose as you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will arrange to provide it, after a visit to the doctor or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health insurance card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the card if a child needs to see a doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We have transport available from the school and for travel to the activities when required.

This decision should be made by the school in question. For our part, we do not recommend it, nor is it necessary to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency phone line. You will always be kept informed of any incidents that arise.

There are no extra costs, but we do recommend bringing a small amount of pocket money to occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar during excursions.

This depends on the accommodation; rooms are usually triple or quadruple. Depending on the school’s preference, teachers can organise the rooms or the children themselves can decide on arrival.
