Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as the assistance service provided by our insurance policies to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team of one group leader per 15 participants. We also have additional organisation staff, such as the coordinator and our direct contact at the Madrid office. The group leader team and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and keep watch over the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances prior to departure so we can inform the accommodation’s kitchen team when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, upon the school’s request, we can arrange 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, a snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry — they will receive an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash whatever they need. In the packing list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid these situations.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader in collaboration with their teacher will be responsible for keeping it and administering it at each scheduled dose you have provided. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will take care of obtaining it, after a doctor’s visit or after speaking with you if it is a minor issue.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the health card if a visit to the doctor is needed for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for transfers to activities where necessary.

This decision is up to the school concerned. On our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for children to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed of any incidents.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money so children can occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or something similar during excursions.

It depends on the accommodation; rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on the school’s decision, teachers can organise the rooms or the children themselves can do so upon arrival.
