Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance policies to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that includes one group leader per 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the coordinator and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leader team and coordinator sleep at the accommodation and are with the children around the clock.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure to pass on to the kitchen team at the venue when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with balanced menus and, at the school’s request, can provide 4 meals a day with breakfast, lunch, a snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu that is as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and once we know we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash the clothes they need. On the kit list we ask for a variety of clothing to prevent this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it and giving it to them at each dose you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will arrange to provide it for them, after a doctor’s visit or having spoken to you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the card if they need to see a doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for travel to activities where necessary.

This decision must be made by the school in question. For our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed if there is any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money in case they want to buy an ice cream, sweets or similar on excursions.

It depends on the accommodation, but rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on the school’s decision, teachers can organise the rooms or the children can sort it themselves on arrival.
