Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle available to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance policies to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team of one group leader per 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the coordinator, and we are in direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leaders team and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and are on hand for the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure so we can inform the kitchen team at the facility when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with balanced menus and, according to the school’s request, can arrange 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and we will resolve it immediately once informed.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash whatever they need. On the equipment list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it and administering it at each scheduled time. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit — if they need any other medicine, we will provide it after a visit to the doctor or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance but we will use the card if a visit to the doctor is needed for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We have transport available from the school and for transfers to activities when needed.

This decision should be made by the school in question. On our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for children to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed of any incidents.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money to occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar during excursions.

It depends on the accommodation, but rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, teachers can organise the rooms or the children can do so themselves upon arrival.
