School Trip to Béjar – 24-Hour Group Leaders.

School trips to Béjar. We will have two main activities that will put our adventurous spirit to the test. First, we will take to the water with an exciting kayaking session on the Granadilla Reservoir, surrounded by nature and with the best group leaders to guide us throughout. Then, we move on to land multi-adventure, where we can climb, jump and tackle obstacles in a spectacular natural setting.

From the start to the end of the trip, the group is accompanied by a team of group leaders 24 hours a day. The professional team takes care of everything: leading the group, driving the energy of the trip, running the activities, as well as all welfare matters (meals, showers, rest, etc.)

24-Hour Group Leaders. Ratio: 1 group leader per 15 participants.

Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance, to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that has one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, including a coordinator and our direct contact at the Madrid office. The team of group leaders and the coordinator sleep on-site and keep watch over the children 24 hours a day.

On all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure so we can inform the venue’s catering team when planning the menu. We choose accommodation with balanced menus and, at the school’s request, we can arrange 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry – they will receive an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW – it is a priority for us and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash the clothing they need. On the kit list we ask for a varied selection of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader – working together with their teacher – will be responsible for keeping it safe and administering it at each time you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will arrange to provide it, following a doctor’s visit or after speaking with you if it is a minor matter.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the health card in the event of a visit to the doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for travel to activities where needed.

This decision is up to the school concerned. On our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed if there is any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money so they can occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar on excursions.

It depends on the accommodation; rooms are usually triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, teachers can organise the rooms or the children themselves can choose on arrival.
