Imagine exploring dreamlike landscapes, from the wild beaches and breathtaking cliffs of the Costa da Morte to the lush valleys and enchanted forests that seem straight out of a fairy tale. GALICIA is known for its incredible natural beauty, rich history and a vibrant culture that blends the best of tradition and modernity. Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle to reach nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance to deal with any emergency.

We work with a team of one group leader per 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the coordinator and our direct contact at the Madrid office. The group leader team and coordinator stay at the accommodation and are available to the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure so we can inform the kitchen team at the venue when they prepare the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, at the school’s request, we can arrange 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are unhappy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is our priority and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever clothing they need. In the packing list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it and administering it at every dose time you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine, we will provide it after a visit to the doctor or after speaking with you if it is a minor matter.

Each child must bring their health card. The trips include accident insurance, but we will use the health card if a child needs to see a doctor due to general illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for transfers to activities when needed.

This decision is for the school to make. For our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for children to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone line. You will always be kept informed of any incidents.

There are no extra costs, but we do recommend bringing a small amount of pocket money for the occasional purchase on excursions, such as an ice cream, sweets or similar.

It depends on the accommodation; rooms are normally triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, either the teachers can organise the room allocation or the children themselves can decide upon arrival.
