Frequently asked questions

We have a support vehicle available to take students to nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided through our insurance policies to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that has one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, including a coordinator and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leaders team and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and keep an eye on the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure, which is shared with the kitchen team at the facility when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, depending on the school’s request, we can arrange 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, an afternoon snack, and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever they need. On the kit list we ask for a varied selection of clothing to avoid this type of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their room group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it safe and giving it to them at each dose time you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit — if they need any other medicine, we will take care of getting it for them after a visit to a doctor or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the health card if a visit to the doctor is needed due to common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for transfers to activities when necessary.

This decision should be made by the school in question. On our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You can also reach us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed if there is any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money to occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or similar on excursions.

It depends on the accommodation — rooms are typically triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, either the teachers can organise the room assignments or the children can sort it themselves upon arrival.
