Note:
The programme can be personalised by adding or removing activities. It may also be subject to modifications due to force majeure, although these would always be communicated in advance and agreed upon with the client.
We have a support vehicle available to travel to nearby health centres and hospitals, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance, to respond to any emergency.
We work with a team that has one group leader for every 15 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the coordinator and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The group leader team and the coordinator sleep at the accommodation and are watching over the children 24 hours a day.
On all our trips we ask you for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure to pass on to the kitchen team at the facility when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, depending on the school’s request, we can provide 4 meals a day with breakfast, lunch, a snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are aware of it we will resolve it immediately.
There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever they need. In the packing list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.
If your child needs to take any medication, their room’s group leader, in collaboration with their teacher, will be responsible for keeping it and giving it to them at each scheduled dose. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit — if they need any other medicine we will make sure they receive it, after a doctor’s visit or after speaking with you if it is something minor.
Each child must bring their health insurance card. Trips include accident insurance, but we will use the card if a visit to the doctor is needed for a common illness.
Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for getting to activities where necessary.
This decision is up to the school in question. For our part, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone number. You will always be kept informed of any incidents.
There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money so they can occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets or something similar on excursions.
It depends on the accommodation — rooms are typically triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, teachers may arrange the room allocations or the children themselves can do so upon arrival.
