How to Choose a Summer Camp?

Having already familiarised ourselves with how summer camps work, the key question arises: which camp do I choose? Which one is most suitable for my children?

The range of summer camps on offer is wide. At Natuaventura Ocio y Tiempo Libre we have more than ten different camps to choose from. Below, we offer a series of criteria to bear in mind when deciding on a camp.

  • Age. The first thing to consider is the age of the child. There are camps for ages 6 to 17 (Sierra de Madrid English Camp), and others aimed at a narrower age range, such as Santander 10 days, which is for those aged 13 to 17. Even where a camp covers a very broad age range, as we have seen, participants are divided into younger and older groups for day-to-day activities.
  • Language. If you are looking for a camp with an educational component in English, you can choose those that include classes (Santander Surf & English) or, for full immersion, those that operate entirely in English (Sierra de Madrid, Navatormes, Gredos, etc.).
  • Accommodation. If you are looking for an experience that is closer to nature and fully multi-adventure, then a tent is your type of accommodation. If, on the other hand, you prefer more standard accommodation, you can choose the hostel-based camps.

Once you have chosen, the best part remains: the moment to enjoy the summer camps!
