Accommodation at the Villar Beach Multiadventure Camp: Las Indianas
The Villar Multiadventure and Beach Camp takes place at the Las Indianas Hostel and its surroundings. This accommodation is a typical restored Campurriano rural manor house, in the heart of the small village of Villar de Campoo, a small locality situated right in the heart of Cantabria, 12 kilometres from Reinosa. Throughout the entire month of July this village hosts the summer camp, making the group of campers feel at home among its streets and neighbours.

1. Introduction to Las Indianas Hostel
The Villar multiadventure summer camp takes place at Las Indianas Hostel. It is located in the very centre of the village, and during the month of July it is used exclusively to accommodate the group of participants and monitors of the camp. The hostel operates as tourist accommodation throughout the year, which means it receives continuous maintenance. It caters to individuals and groups alike, and given its proximity to the Alto Campoo ski resort, it is one of the main stopover points for skiers.
2. The accommodation facilities
The hostel is situated in the middle of the village and has capacity for 120 people. It has 22 spacious and bright rooms with capacity for between 2 and 12 people. All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. The hostel has a restaurant, common rooms, and a games room for children. It also features a games and activities room, a garden with comfortable sofas, terraces, and private parking.
In addition to the dining room and its own kitchen, where a home-cooked menu made with local produce is served, the Villar Camp hostel has two multi-purpose rooms, where many of the camp’s evening events take place, as well as spacious outdoor areas. These include two meadows, one of which has a football pitch, which are also ideal for gymkhanas and sports games. This is complemented by a climbing wall within the facility itself, where the climbing activity takes place.
The team of monitors and coordinators who design and run the activities stays at the hostel for the entire duration of the camp, sharing the fifteen days with the participants and forming a close-knit group ready to enjoy maximum fun. If you would like to know more about the camp’s schedule, you can check out the best activities at our Villar Camp.
3. The natural surroundings of Villar del Campoo
The location of Las Indianas accommodation not only places it close to magnificent areas for hiking routes and wild swimming in natural pools, but also provides a perfect setting to enjoy fifteen unforgettable days at the Villar Multiadventure and Beach Camp. The village streets, flanked by the region’s typical houses, become the stage for games, gymkhanas, and sports tournaments. Throughout July, the village buzzes with the arrival of the camp, transforming from a small hamlet into a place full of fun and magic.
4. Experiences near Las Indianas accommodation
Surrounded by grazing meadows, oak and beech forests, and rivers with natural pools and waterfalls, the surroundings of Las Indianas offer swimming areas in the river, vast mountain spaces, camping areas, and the beach less than an hour away by coach. This is why the Villar Camp not only stands out as one of our multiadventure champions, but also has the distinction of extending to the coast.
80 kilometres separate Villar from Somo Beach, where the group of participants travels for two days at the seaside. On one of those days we take part in a full surf course in which campers are introduced to the sport or, for the more experienced, refine their skills. Meanwhile, whilst one part of the group immerses themselves in the waves, the rest of the team can enjoy a stroll around the village accompanied by their monitors, popping in to buy an ice cream or a souvenir from the small local craft shops.
The second beach day is undoubtedly one of the most special of the Villar Multiadventure and Beach Camp. The group travels to Somo once again, but this time to compete in genuine beach Olympics with another of the Natuaventura camps. Divided into 25 groups, the children rotate through different challenges where they demonstrate their sporting abilities on the sand, bathed in the Cantabrian sun. They then enjoy a day at the beach getting to know other children and having dinner as the sun sets to close the day. It almost makes you want to be transported there right now, doesn’t it?
Other tourist highlights of the area surrounding Las Indianas Hostel include the natural pools of Las Cervalizas, the River Hijar, the source of the Ebro, and Argüeso Castle. Many of these places are visited throughout the camp as part of the mountain routes that form one of the many multiadventure activities on offer. There the children truly connect with nature and learn to grow alongside their peers in surroundings that breathe peace and tranquillity — but only for a little while! They are soon playing in the water and embarking on daring expeditions between the rocks.

5. In summary, the perfect setting
Every time we have to say goodbye to the Villar Multiadventure and Beach Camp we are not only saying goodbye to the children and the monitors — we are also saying farewell to our summer home. To the walls that have heard us sing so many times in the dining room and to the courtyard that has seen us laugh until we cried at the climbing wall. We say goodbye to endless stories that we will remember forever, in our favourite place and the perfect setting for this great Villar Camp family.
