If this is the first time you are enrolling your children at the Natuaventura Santander Surf Summer Camps, it is perfectly natural to ask: What activities are included beyond surf lessons? Are they suitable for all age groups?

Here is a selection of the 7 best activities at the Santander Surf Camps:

1. Organising the Calendar Around Surf Lessons

The Surf course dictates our activities calendar. In the 15-day camp there are 6 surf lessons, whilst in the 10-day camp there are 4 lessons. On surf days, the activity leaders plan more relaxed activities so that the group has enough energy to make it to the end of the day.

2. Themed Day Activities

A full day built around a different theme each year — with activity leaders in character, the camp decorated accordingly, and surprises woven into mealtimes. From a Hogwarts letter on the breakfast table to a Mario Kart race at snack time — the aim is for children to feel as though they are inside «a film».

3. The Excursion to Berria Beach

After a 40 km bus journey from the Albergue Montecorona, campers begin a trek from the town of Santoña, walking along the seafront with views of the Cantabrian coast and cliffs. At the end, a wide beach awaits where they take a dip and spend the day playing beach games and sports.

4. The Yellow Humour Games

A circuit packed with inflatable structures and giant constructions — children split into teams and rotate around each attraction. Without doubt one of the most highly rated and eagerly anticipated activities at our summer camps.

5. Visits to La Maruca Beach

The accommodation is situated 2 km from La Maruca beach. Several times during the fortnight the group heads down to the coast for an afternoon or morning of swimming, games, and ice cream on the seafront promenade.

6. The Spartan Race

A genuine obstacle race — campers crawl through mud, lift tyres with ropes, climb walls, jump over fences, and slide down tarpaulins. The whole thing is rounded off with an invigorating water balloon fight.

7. Night Games and Evening Entertainment

From human Cluedo to the open-air cinema, evening activities at the Santander Surf Camps create memories that last a lifetime.
