Ten days is a lot of time. This is the full activity catalogue of the Santander Surf 10 Days camp at the Albergue Montecorona (Calle Aviche 37, Santander), as experienced by teenagers aged 13 to 17 across each of the three July sessions.
Camp Activities
Surf Course (4 days)
The 4-day surf course is the flagship activity. Board and wetsuit provided, level-based sessions, partner surf school.
Beach time
In addition to the dedicated surf days, there is free beach time built into the programme.
Visit to Santillana del Mar
An excursion to Santillana del Mar, one of the most iconic historic towns in Cantabria.
Spartan Race
A team obstacle course race within the camp programme.
Humor Amarillo
A day of team games with inflatable structures and skill challenges.
Mountain hikes
Hikes through the Cantabrian countryside making the most of the hostel’s location.
Greenpeace Survival 2.0
A large themed team game, part of the camp activity schedule.
Giant board game
A large-scale version of the classic, with challenges, tasks and themed squares.
Workshops and games
Workshops, games and treasure hunts throughout the camp, integrated into each day.
Parties and evening events
Nightly evening events at the hostel after dinner: themed nights, music and group games.

Do participants need to know how to surf?
No. The 4-day course is for beginners and groups are adjusted by level. Board and wetsuit are provided by the organisers.
How many days are spent at the beach?
The surf course takes up 4 days, plus additional beach days spread throughout the programme.
What is the activity leader to participant ratio?
One activity leader per eight participants, with maximum groups of 40 to 50 organised by age.
What is the Spartan Race?
A team obstacle course race within the camp programme, designed as a physical and cooperative day out.
Are the evening events compulsory?
They form part of the programme and are one of the most distinctive moments of the camp. There is a different proposal every night.
