Before pressing the “book” button there is a checklist worth reviewing carefully: cancellation conditions, what the price actually includes, insurance, activity-leader qualifications, ratio, details of the organiser and how communication will work during the camp. This guide covers everything you should verify before booking a summer camp for your children.
Steps for booking a camp with confidence
Identify the organiser. Make sure you know who is behind the camp: company name, years of activity and experience managing leisure and free-time programmes. Natuaventura has been organising camps for over two decades.
Ask for the information sheet in writing. It must contain the exact address, dates, ages, itemised price, accommodation, meals, activities, ratio, medical assistance and internal rules.
Confirm what the price includes. At Natuaventura, the “all-inclusive” covers the four daily meals, accommodation, materials, qualified activity leaders, insurance and optional transport from Madrid or Las Rozas.
Verify insurance and qualifications. Public liability, accident insurance and, optionally, cancellation insurance. Activity leaders qualified in leisure and free-time work.
Read the cancellation policy. Up to 1 March: €20 in administration fees; from 1 March to 15 May: €100; from 15 May onwards: 100% of the amount paid.
Reserve your place. Once you have reviewed everything, complete the registration with enough notice to secure your preferred session.

Frequently asked questions about booking
What happens if I have to cancel due to illness?
Cancellations for medical reasons follow the same fee schedule: €20 up to 1 March, €100 from 1 March to 15 May, and 100% from 15 May onwards. We therefore recommend taking out the optional cancellation insurance when booking: it covers unforeseen medical and family circumstances.
What qualifications do the activity leaders have?
All activity leaders hold an official qualification in leisure and free-time work. At the English camps (Sierra Madrid English Camp and Navatormes English Camp), the team also holds C1 level or above, with bilingual or native-speaking leaders to guarantee 100% linguistic immersion.
What is the leader-to-child ratio?
The reference ratio is 1 activity leader per 8 participants. Groups are organised with a maximum of 40–50 participants and are subdivided internally by age so that activities are tailored to each age group.
What insurance is included?
Each participant is covered by public liability and accident insurance throughout the stay. Cancellation insurance is offered as an optional add-on at the time of registration.
How do we communicate with our child during the camp?
The mobile phone is collected on arrival to encourage togetherness and returned for calls home every 3–4 days. You will also receive an SMS on arrival at the destination, you can follow the daily diary on social media and you will have a direct channel with the organisation for any needs that arise.
