How Do We Organise Our Activities Day by Day?
A typical day at the Cuenca multiadventure summer camp goes as follows:
- In the morning, after waking up and having breakfast, the first activity kicks off and runs until lunchtime. Depending on the day, this could be a sports game, a themed gymkhana, a workshop or many other options.
- After lunch there is some free time, which is extremely important for group cohesion. During this time the monitors accompany campers and offer alternative leisure activities to those who wish.
- With the start of the afternoon, the next activity begins, with a break for a snack. Its theme may be combined with the morning activity or be completely different.
- After showers and tidying rooms, dinner is served. With full stomachs, the final activity begins: the evening event. This brings a complete camp day to a close.
At Cuenca Multiadventure, the balance between intense activities and free time is key. These moments — after meals and before bedtime — foster relationships, autonomy and lasting friendships.
Campers enjoy games organised by the monitors, promoting active and inclusive participation. And finally, evening sessions with the cabin monitors provide a relaxed and trusting space to share the day’s experiences and give feedback that is essential for improving the camp.
These very personal moments create an enriching and memorable experience for participants.

Multiadventure Activities at the Cuenca Camp
At a multiadventure camp, the wide variety of activities challenges our limits, confronting us with unexpected fears and challenges. From climbing to zip wires, every experience drives personal growth. We love watching children and teenagers gain confidence and adapt to a very intense and exciting routine.
We make the most of every day by packing in plenty of activities, understanding that this time of year is eagerly awaited by both participants and monitors alike. The magic of camp lies in surpassing expectations and creating unforgettable memories.
There are endless multiadventure activities that can be done at a camp, but the ones that never fail at Cuenca are:
Ropes Course and Zip Wires
It is one of the most enjoyable activities, and one in which campers learn a great deal about themselves and overcome fears.
The ropes course makes use of the trees themselves as components of the multiadventure circuit. It is also worth mentioning that the activity is supervised by specialist monitors.
However, the camp’s own monitors also attend, participating and helping the activity coordinators. Each age group completes a circuit adapted to their ability, with all the necessary safety protocols in place to ensure that fun always takes place within a safe environment.

Climbing, Climbing Wall and Abseiling
Another standout activity at Cuenca is climbing. For this, the group travels to a nearby mountain area set up for teaching the sport. Appropriate equipment is provided and the necessary safety protocols are explained.
Both climbing and abseiling are carried out and supervised by the team of monitors, who have the qualifications and experience needed to conduct this activity with all the necessary guarantees. Once the ascent by climbing has been completed, the descent is carried out by abseiling.

Archery
Another standout multiadventure activity is archery. This takes place in the grounds surrounding the hostel, and year after year it is one of the favourite activities for boys and girls.
In it, campers will practise their aim and get to feel like true archers for a day.
It is much harder than it looks, but everything is about giving it a go and learning!

Caving
Caving involves exploring natural underground cavities — in other words, we visit incredible and deep caves.
We explore the fascinating depths of the earth together. We venture into exciting caves, discovering stalactites and stalagmites whilst confronting the darkness in an unforgettable experience.

Via Ferrata
A via ferrata is a route — both vertical and horizontal — equipped with various fixtures: iron rungs, staples, handrails, chains, suspension bridges and zip wires, which allow you to reach areas of difficult access safely, even for those not accustomed to climbing.
Fitted with harnesses and secured to cables, we ascend and descend steep rock faces, combining excitement and safety for a unique climbing experience.

Kayaking
The multiadventure continues at this summer camp with kayaking. The necessary skills are explained by a team of specialist monitors, supported and assisted by the camp monitors.
Kayaking quickly becomes a star activity in the programme, both for the location in which it takes place and for the experience it offers boys and girls.

Gymkhanas
Excitement and team spirit in the famous and time-honoured gymkhanas — original, inclusive, unpredictable and never disappointing year after year.
Some of the gymkhanas that have been a big hit at our camps lately are Save the Egg, in which campers compete to gather materials to build a fortress protecting the egg from the final impact (at some camps we are starting to swap the egg for a water balloon, so as not to waste food).

And the Spartan Race, a series of obstacle courses of varying distances and difficulty levels.

Visit to Valencia — Two Days of Beach and Terra Mítica
Just 1 hour away by coach, we have the Valencia beach at our feet. We start the day with energy and excitement at the prospect of moving from a mountain setting to a beach one in no time at all.
We enjoy two days filled with sunshine, sea and fun on the beach. The experience is further enhanced with a visit, on one of the two days, to the Oceanogràfic.
This enriching experience forms an integral part of the camp’s multiadventure activities, offering participants a perfect combination of entertainment, education and unforgettable moments in the beautiful city of Valencia.

TERRA MÍTICA
Terra Mítica is an exciting theme park that transports children to the magic of the ancient Mediterranean civilisations. We explore its incredible attractions and enjoy unique shows whilst discovering the fascinating histories of Greece, Egypt and Rome.
In this way, this excursion adds a unique touch of adventure and learning to the camp programme.

Swimming in Pools, Rivers and Natural Rock Pools
On hot summer days, moments to cool off and relax are essential.
At Cuenca, the multiadventure activities stand out somewhat above those of our other camps where routes to rivers and natural rock pools take more of the spotlight — for example, at our camps in the Sierra de Gredos.
However, Cuenca is notable for being one of the few camps with a swimming pool within its own facilities, at the Alta-Lai Hostel. It is available whenever we want to take a dip.
These moments of tranquillity not only give us a sense of relaxation, but also an opportunity to connect and get to know the people around us better.
For many, sun, water and friends is all that is needed to be happy.

Routes and Camping at the Cuenca Multiadventure Camp
Mountain activities at a multiadventure camp are a must. Furthermore, they do not focus solely on sport, but also on the personal development of campers — both physically and mentally. Campers in the natural environment reflect on their experiences of the day, strengthen bonds of friendship and prepare for new adventures.
The Cuenca Multiadventure Camp also includes several mountain routes and one night away from the hostel, where boys and girls will enjoy a night in tents, surrounded by stars, in a unique setting. For many of them it is their first contact with the world of camping, which is a magical experience they will never forget.

The setting and the journey are part of the experience. For this reason we place such importance on camping, doing VIVAC, or walking to every place we possibly can. Without all of that, the camp would be very different and you would learn and experience only half as much.
Our conclusion is always that, by doing such simple and timeless activities in nature, you enjoy working as a team and being constantly surrounded by companions who encourage you to improve — thus enabling you to face your greatest personal goals and challenges.

The Yellow Humour Circuit
Inspired by the famous television game show, the Yellow Humour Circuit is one of the most popular activities at all our camps, and the Cuenca Multiadventure Camp is no exception. With hilarious obstacles and team challenges, it is the perfect way to foster camaraderie and, above all, have a great time.
Competitiveness comes to the fore as campers face tests of agility, balance and coordination, all in an atmosphere of laughter and fun.
This circuit is not only an opportunity to have a brilliant time, but also an excellent means of developing physical and teamwork skills, whilst enjoying some healthy competition. Young people learn to cheer each other on and offer mutual support, strengthening bonds and building unforgettable memories along the way. Campers love this activity, which is why it is a hit year after year.

Themed Activities — Theme Day, Holi Life
Staying in the facility for a day is no synonym for boredom. All programmes are also strategically designed so that days do not become repetitive or excessively tiring.
Furthermore, the days on which we have themed activities are generally days when the entire camp and all age groups come together, making them very special days indeed.
Alongside the physical activities, the Cuenca Multiadventure Camp stands out for its themed activities. Two in particular deserve mention:
THEME DAY
This consists of a full day — from the moment we wake up until we go to bed after the evening event (the night-time activity) — during which all the day’s activities are themed around a single concept, immersing campers in a completely new and different environment from the rest of the days.
Any excuse is a good one for the monitors to dress up, and in this way, children feel immersed in a new world where the day’s games transport them to another space. All these activities tend to be challenge and teamwork games, in which all campers come together to solve them.

HOLI LIFE
And Holi Life, the famous colour powder race. Rather than a race, we set up various circuits and challenges that campers must complete before facing a final battle between groups, which consists of throwing the powder at each other.
It is a moment that everyone thoroughly enjoys and that produces some brilliant photos. Everyone wins in the end!

These are just some of the thousands of activities that can be done at a summer camp. At Natuaventura, we love surpassing ourselves year after year and sharing unique experiences, learning and, above all, having fun with our campers.
