The Navatormes English camp combines two of the most sought-after experiences in summer camping: full language immersion in English and multi-adventure outdoor activities in one of Spain’s most spectacular mountain settings — the Sierra de Gredos.

Location: Navatormes, Sierra de Gredos

Navatormes is a small village in the Sierra de Gredos, in the province of Ávila, surrounded by dramatic mountain landscapes, crystal-clear streams, and dense pine forests. It is an exceptional setting for outdoor adventure, with rock faces, mountain trails, and natural pools all within easy reach of the camp base.

Full English Immersion

At this camp, English is the language of everything: activities, mealtimes, free time, games — all conducted in English. This immersive environment is far more effective than formal classroom tuition, allowing children to acquire the language naturally and organically. Our activity leaders are native or highly proficient bilingual speakers.

Multi-Adventure and Mountain Activities

The activity programme combines multi-adventure disciplines with mountain-specific activities:

• Rock climbing on natural crags in the Sierra de Gredos
• Zip wire through the mountain valley
• Canyoning in the rivers and gorges of Gredos
• Mountain hiking — including ascents of iconic Gredos peaks
• Kayaking on mountain reservoirs

Who Is This Camp For?

The Navatormes English camp is suitable for children and young people aged 8 to 17 who want to improve their English whilst enjoying an action-packed summer in the mountains. No prior experience of adventure sports is required — all activities are adapted to the ability of each group.

Accommodation

Participants stay in a comfortable hostel at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos, with dormitory-style rooms, a dining room serving freshly prepared meals, and outdoor recreation areas.
