Some surf camps last a weekend. And then there is Santander Surf 10 Days: a camp exclusively for teenagers (ages 13 to 17) at the Albergue Montecorona, in the Monte neighbourhood of Santander, 10 minutes from La Maruca beach. Three sessions in July, over 40 years of history and a 4-day surf course at its core.

The camp is hosted at the Albergue Montecorona, at Calle Aviche 37, Santander (Cantabria), in the Monte neighbourhood. La Maruca beach is 10 minutes away. It is a location with over 40 years of experience hosting group stays.
Three 10-day sessions in July
First session
From 1 to 10 July. Price: 698 €.
Second session
From 11 to 20 July. Price: 678 €.
Third session
From 21 to 30 July. Price: 678 €.
A camp designed for teenagers
Participants are aged 13 to 17 and groups are organised by age. The ratio is one activity leader per eight participants and maximum groups of 40 to 50. Accommodation is in rooms of 6 to 12 places with bunk beds, non-mixed, with gender-separated bathrooms and individual showers. In-house kitchen, home-cooked food and four meals a day.
A day at Santander Surf
Wake-up and breakfast: morning wash at the hostel and breakfast in the internal dining room.
Surf or multi-adventure block: depending on the day, a trip to the beach for the surf course or a block of programme activities.
Lunch and rest: home-cooked lunch and supervised free time.
Afternoon activity or excursion: beach, Spartan Race, inflatable games, hikes, Greenpeace Survival 2.0 or giant board game depending on the day.
Evening programme: after dinner, a themed evening activity at the hostel.
