The Location: Santander, Cantabria as a Camp Destination

Natuaventura’s surf summer camps take place in the city of Santander, capital of Cantabria. There are several reasons that make this location a unique place for a summer camp.

A unique natural setting

Santander combines the proximity of the Cantabrian Mountain Range and the forests characteristic of northern Spain with the Cantabrian Sea coast. Right next to the city lies the Bay of Santander, which puts it within easy reach of several beaches where surfing can be practised.

Oceanic climate

Mild temperatures

The climate falls within the oceanic classification: mild and temperate in summer, without extreme heat peaks.

Comfortable for activities

The absence of intense heat makes it easy to run summer camps in pleasant conditions throughout the day.
