Summer Camps in Ávila: Three Options in Sierra de Gredos

Ávila is home to one of the largest ranges of mountain summer camps in Spain: the Sierra de Gredos on one side, pine forests and cold-water rivers on the other. At Natuaventura we organise three camps in the province of Ávila — Gredos Multi-Adventure, Navarredonda and Navatormes English Camp — each with its own character.

The Same Guarantees

A ratio of 1 activity leader for every 8 participants, 4 meals a day with an on-site kitchen, pocket money of 20–30 €, calls home every 3–4 days and a daily social-media diary.

Frequently Asked Questions About the Ávila Camps

Is it safe to sleep in a tent or tipi?

Yes. The facilities are well-lit, well-equipped wooded camping areas with activity leaders staying in the same zone. Separate male and female toilets with individual showers. Navarredonda has its own on-site medical room with beds.

What is the leader-to-participant ratio?

1 activity leader for every 8 participants, in groups of a maximum of 40–50 campers organised by age.

How do phone calls and mobile phones work?

Mobiles are permitted but collected on arrival and returned every 3–4 days for calls home. The team also publishes a daily social-media diary so families can follow day-to-day life at camp.

How many meals are served and what is the food like?

Four meals a day (breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner), with an on-site kitchen, home-cooked food and menus adapted for allergies and intolerances.

Is pocket money needed?

We recommend between 20 and 30 € per participant for incidental expenses (shops on excursions, souvenirs, etc.). The money is kept by the activity leaders.
