DÍA 1
¡Hola familias!
¡Estamos muy contentos de que por fin haya llegado el día de irnos de campamento!
Una vez que llegamos a nuestra nueva casa llamada «Manjiron», al llegar jugamos unos cuantos juegos juntos para conocernos, luego nos lavamos las manos y nos preparamos para tener nuestro almuerzo empacado en nuestro comedor exterior, protegido de los rayos del sol.
Después jugamos un poco más mientras esperábamos a que llegaran el resto de nuestros compañeros. Una vez que llegaron todos, tomamos algunos bocadillos y los consejeros empezaron a explicarnos las reglas del campamento y por fin pudimos entrar en nuestras habitaciones para desempacar y conocer a algunos de nuestros nuevos compañeros.
Luego, después de nuestra primera cena en el campamento, ¡nos preparamos para jugar más juegos! El grupo de Tokio jugó a La Balanza, un divertido juego en el que teníamos que encontrar a nuestros monitores que estaban escondidos por las instalaciones. Una vez que los encontrábamos, los llevábamos al principio y cada uno de ellos pesaba una determinada cantidad, algunos más, otros menos, pero al final ¡lo disfrutamos mucho!
Mientras tanto, el grupo de Nairobi jugó a los «contrabandistas», un divertido y dinámico juego de atrapar y correr en el que teníamos que atrapar el mayor número posible de garbanzos del equipo contrario. Sin duda, ¡un gran juego para terminar la noche!
Estamos deseando ver lo que nos espera mañana.
DAY 1
Hello families!
We’re so excited that the day to go camp has finally arrived! Once we arrived at our new home called “Manjiron”, when we arrived we played a few games together to get to know each other, then we washed our hands and got ready to have our packed lunch in our exterior dining room, protected from the rays of the sun.
After that we played some more while we waited for the rest of our mates to arrive. Once everyone was here, we had some snacks & the counselors started explaining the rules of camp & we finally could get into our rooms to unpack and meet some of our new roommates!
Then, after our first dinner at camp, we got ready to play some more games! The Tokyo group played The Scale, a fun game where we had to find our monitors who were hidden around the facilities. Once we found them , we brought them to the beginning and each of them weighed a certain amount, some of them more, some of them less but at the end of it, we enjoyed it a lot!
Meanwhile, the Nairobi group played “smugglers”, a fun & dynamic catching & running game where we had to catch as many chickpeas from the opposing team as possible! Certainly a great game to end the night!
We can’t wait to see what’s in store for tomorrow!

¡Hola Familias!
Hoy ha sido un día fantástico. Por la mañana, los «Nairobis» hemos salido del campamento hacia una pequeña explanada para jugar a un juego llamado «Las tres banderas». Estábamos divididos en tres equipos y teníamos que encontrar las 3 banderas de uno de los otros equipos, intentando evitar ser pillados por los demás.
Por la tarde hemos vuelto a salir de nuestro querido albergue, esta vez para ir al embalse del Atazar a hacer una maravillosa ruta en Kayak. Ha sido súper divertido porque pudimos ir hasta una calita preciosa y pasar un agradable rato allí todos juntos.
Por la noche, hemos jugado al escondite al revés, donde una sola persona se escondia y los demas teniamos q encontrarla y escondernos junto a ella.
Mientras tanto, nuestro día en Medianos ha sido de lo más completo. Primero empezamos el día yendo a los Kayaks al Embalse del Atazar dónde aprendimos a remar y guiar la piragüa, se nos dió tan bien que llegamos hasta una mini calita dónde nos dimos un baño y jugamos. Después regresamos al campamento y muy hambrientos nos fuimos a comer.
Una vez recargamos pilas, los Tokitos nos preparamos para crear un buen grito de guerra y una bandera que nos representase como equipo listo para conquistar los territorios desconocidos del mapa de The Risk. Estuvimos corriendo y pillandonos entre nosotros mientras íbamos conquistando territorios según conseguíamos los puntos. Una vez terminamos nos duchamos e hicimos una llamadita a casa a nuestras familias para contarles ¡lo bien que lo estamos pasando! Para terminar el día jugamos a Smugglers, dónde tuvimos que hacer de policías y de contrabanditas, pasando o dejando pasar garbancitos. ¡Fue muy divertido! ¡Menudos policías tan buenos tenemos, y ya los contrabandistas no veas!
Ha sido un día largo e intenso. Estamos deseando que llegue mañana para seguir disfrutando de Manjirón.
DAY 2
Hello Families!
Today has been a fantastic day. In the morning, the «Nairobis» left the camp to a small esplanade to play a game called «The three flags». We were divided into three teams and we had to find the 3 flags of one of the other teams, trying to avoid being caught by the others.
In the afternoon we left our beloved hostel again, this time to go to the Atazar reservoir to do a wonderful Kayak route. It was super fun because we were able to go to a beautiful cove and spend a nice time there all together.
At night, we played hide and seek in reverse, where only one person was hiding and the rest of us had to find her and hide with her.
In the meantime, our day in Medianos has been very full. First we started the day going to the Atazar reservoir where we learned to paddle and guide the canoe, we were so good that we got to a mini cove where we took a bath and played. Then we returned to the camp and very hungry we went to eat.
Once we recharged our batteries, the Tokitos got ready to create a good battle cry and a flag to represent us as a team ready to conquer the unknown territories of The Risk map. We were running around and catching each other as we were conquering territories as we scored points. Once we finished we showered and made a phone call home to our families to tell them what a great time we are having! To end the day we played Smugglers, where we had to play the role of policemen and smugglers, passing or letting chickpeas pass through. It was great fun! What good policemen we have, and the smugglers, you can’t even imagine!
It has been a long and intense day. We are looking forward to tomorrow to continue enjoying Manjiron.
DÍA 3
¡¡Hoooola!!
¡Vaya día hemos tenido hoy! Nada más terminar de desayunar hemos jugado con los Tokios, separados por habitaciones, al Summer Mix, una especie de gymkana donde hemos competido en pruebas cortitas pero muy divertidas.
Por la tarde,, como hacía mucho calor, los monitores del grupo Nairobi nos han preparado una fantástica gymkana de agua, donde a través de unas pruebas súper divertidas hemos terminado empapados y bien fresquitos. Al otro lado del campa, los del grupo «Tokio» jugamos a un juego de estrategia en el cual teníamos que atrapar una bandera escondida, se nos dió fenomenal. Más tarde cenamos y terminamos el día jugando Crazy People, en el cual teníamos que encontrar a algunos monitores y adivinar cómo curar su locura, que si cantando, que si bailando, que si corriendo… ¡fue muy divertido!. Mientras tanto, la velada nocturna de los «nairobi» fue jugar a The Scale. Es un juego de estrategia donde, por equipos, hemos tenido que buscar a los monitores escondidos por el albergue y llevarlos hasta una base. Cada uno tenía unos puntos asignados que no hemos sabido hasta el final.
Hemos pasado un día tremendamente emocionante con el que hemos disfrutado muchísimo.

DAY 3
Hellooooo again!
What a day we had today! Right after breakfast we played Summer Mix with the Tokios, separated by rooms, we played a kind of gymkhana where we competed in short but very fun tests.
In the afternoon, as it was very hot, the monitors of the Nairobi group prepared a fantastic water gymkhana, where through some super fun tests we ended up soaked and very cool. On the other side of the camp, the «Tokyo» group played a strategy game in which we had to catch a hidden flag, we did great. Later we had dinner and finished the day playing Crazy People, in which we had to find some monitors and guess how to cure their madness, whether singing, dancing, running… it was great fun! It was a lot of fun! Meanwhile, the «nairobi» evening was to play The Scale. It is a strategy game where, in teams, we had to look for the monitors hidden around the lodge and take them to a base. Each one had some assigned points that we did not know until the end.
We have spent a tremendously exciting day with which we have enjoyed a lot.

¡¡¡Hola!!!
Seguimos a tope en con el campa.
Hoy, los del grupo «Nairobi» hemos decidido empezar más relajados con una actividad dinámica pero tranquila. Nos hemos dividido en grupos y hemos jugado a One to win que ha consistido en una serie de mini juegos de menos de 1 minuto, divididos por grupos. ¡¡Ha estado genial!!
Los del grupo «Tokio» en cambio jugamos a diferentes competiciones de deporte, hicimos unas mini olimpiadas dentro de nuestro grupo donde ¡nos vestimos de los diferentes colores de los JJ.OO!
Después de comer, a los del grupo «Tokio» nos tocó jugar a One to win, un juego que pone a prueba nuestras habilidades y destrezas como equipo. Mientras tanto, los «Nairobi» hemos hecho Sports competition; hemos jugado a varios deportes como ultimate, footbeisbol, towell volleyball y dodgeball. Después nos hemos retado entre monitores y acampados y hemos jugado un par de rondas de 1 vs all de Monis contra Nairobis.
Después de cenar la actividad nocturna fue «Khalessis & Dragons», donde estuvimos buscando a Khalessi, los dragons y las «wise women» para obtener letras con las que construir la palabra más larga. ¡Fue una noche super divertida! En el otro lado del camp, los «Nairobi» tuvieron de actividad nocturna: The Quest, en la que por equipos teníamos que responder lo más ápido posible a los challenges que nos ponía el presentador.
¡¡Estamos deseando que llegue mañana, será un nuevo día!!
DAY 4
Hello!!!
We are still in full swing with the camp.
Today, the «Nairobi» group decided to start with a more relaxed, dynamic but quiet activity. We divided into groups and played One to win which consisted of a series of mini-games of less than 1 minute, divided into groups. It was great!!!
The «Tokyo» group played different sports competitions, we did a mini Olympics within our group where we dressed up in the different colors of the Olympic Games!
After lunch, the «Tokyo» group played One to win, a game that tests our skills and abilities as a team. Meanwhile, the «Nairobi» group played Sports competition; we played various sports such as ultimate, footbeisbol, towell volleyball and dodgeball. Afterwards we challenged each other between monitors and campers and played a couple of rounds of 1 vs all Monis vs Nairobis.
After dinner the night activity was «Khalessis & Dragons», where we were looking for Khalessi, the dragons and the «wise women» to get letters to build the longest word. It was a super fun night! On the other side of the camp, the «Nairobi» had a night activity: The Quest, where we had to answer as fast as possible to the challenges set by the presenter.
We are looking forward to tomorrow, it will be a new day!!!

¡¡Hola familias!!
Hoy ha sido un día realmente emocionante. Por la mañana, los del grupo «Nairobi» hemos hecho multiaventura, con actividades tan chulas como tirolina, escalada, tiro con arco, slackline y futbolín humano. Ha sido muy agotador pero lo hemos pasado fenomenal.
Después de comer, por la tarde, hemos jugado a uno de los juegos más divertidos del campamento: Destroy the egg. Consistía en que, por grupos, teníamos que construir una especie de artefacto para meter dentro un huevo. Si al lanzarlo el huevo no se rompía, teníamos la oportunidad de romper un huevo en la cabeza del monitor que quisiéramos. Si ocurría lo contrario, eran ellos los que nos lo rompían a nosotros.
Por la noche, para acabar el día de la mejor manera, hemos jugado a «Party Rock», una especie de concurso con mini retos que teníamos que ir superando para ganar puntos.
Ha sido un día súper emocionante.
Los «Tokytos» empezamos nuestro día como buenos piratillas jugando a Battleship (Hundir la flota), pero a diferencia del juego tradicional, ¡nosotros fuimos el barco! después de conseguir los suficientes chickpeas (garbanzos) hicimos una subasta donde compramos el material para construir nuestros barcos humanos. Finalmente, terminamos empapados en una guerra de agua donde las palabras más escuchadas fueron «tocado» y «hundido», todo ello al ritmo de la música de Piratas del Caribe.
Por la tarde, al igual que los «Nairobi» tuvimos Multiaventura, futbolín humano, tiro con arco, tirolina escalada… ¡Menudo día intenso!.
Para finalizar el día, todos juntos, «Nairobis» y «Tokytos» jugamos a Party Rock, fue una auténtica pasada, por equipos nos unimos y tratamos de ganar haciendo mímica, dibujando, cantando.
Cada día estamos más a gusto juntos en el campamento. ¡Qué suerte tenemos de estar pasándolo tan bien juntos!

Hello families!!!
Today has been a really exciting day. In the morning, we from the «Nairobi» group have done multiadventure, with activities as cool as zip line, climbing, archery, slackline and human foosball. It was very tiring but we had a great time.
After lunch, in the afternoon, we played one of the most fun games of the camp; Destroy the egg. It consisted in that, in groups, we had to build a kind of artifact to put an egg inside. If, when thrown, the egg did not break, we had the opportunity to break an egg on the head of the monitor of our choice. If the opposite happened, it was they who broke it for us.
At night, to end the day in the best way, we played «Party Rock», a kind of contest with mini challenges that we had to overcome to earn points.
It was a super exciting day.
The «Tokytos» started our day as good little piranhas playing Battleship (Sink the Fleet), but unlike the traditional game, we were the ship! After getting enough chickpeas we had an auction where we bought the material to build our human ships. Finally, we ended up getting soaked in a water war where the most heard words were «touched» and «sunk», all to the beat of Pirates of the Caribbean music.
In the afternoon, just like the «Nairobi» we had multi-adventure, human football, archery, zip-line climbing…. What an intense day!
To end the day, all together, «Nairobis» and «Tokytos» played Party Rock, it was a real cool, we joined teams and tried to win by miming, drawing and singing.
Every day we are more and more comfortable together in the camp, how lucky we are to be having such a good time together!

¡Hola a todos!
Nuestra mañana empezó cargadita de actividades. Los «Tokytos» por la mañana empezaron jugando a The Quest, un juego en el cuál había que hacer challenges (mini pruebas) muy muy rápido para ser el primer equipo en terminarlas. Las pruebas fueron desde traer a un «Nairobi» que llevase gafas a encontrar un calcetín con un agujero. ¡Cuánto nos reímos!.
Mientras los «Nairobi» estuvieron jugando a Battle of the sexes, donde los chicos se disfrazaron de chicas y viceversa. Se pasaron la mañana proponiéndose retos para resolver en el equipo de «boys» and «girls». Si el reto era muy difícil el equipo que lo proponía debía de saber al menos resolverlo. Mas tarde fuimos a la piscina y cuando llegamos, junto a los «Tokytos» empezamos a preparar la mochila listos para marchar.
La marcha fue toda una aventura, aunque tuvimos ratitos en los que necesitamos una pausa, las pistolas de agua nos animaron a seguir caminando hasta llegar a nuestro destino. Una vez llegamos el camino y el esfuerzo hizo que todo mereciese la pena. Estuvimos jugando en una esplanada enorme con vistas al lago y a la naturaleza, las mismas vistas con las que cenamos. Después montamos la rafia y los sacos de dormir y nos fuimos a jugar y a cantar canciones a pleno pulmón.
Finalmente, nos fuimos a dormir con ese precioso cielo estrellado y con una historia de buenas noches.
Ha sido un día muy especial con el que disfrutamos mucho.

DAY 6
Hello everyone!
Our morning started with a lot of activities. The «Tokytos» in the morning started playing The Quest, a game in which you had to do challenges very quickly to be the first team to finish them. The challenges ranged from bringing a «Nairobi» wearing glasses to finding a sock with a hole in it. We had a lot of laughs.
While the «Nairobis» were playing Battle of the sexes, where the boys dressed up as girls and vice versa. They spent the morning proposing challenges for the «boys» and «girls» team to solve. If the challenge was too difficult, the team that proposed it had to at least know how to solve it. Later we went to the pool and when we arrived, together with the «Tokytos» we started to prepare the backpack ready to leave.
The march was quite an adventure, although we had some moments when we needed a break, the water guns encouraged us to keep walking until we reached our destination. Once we arrived, the walk and the effort made it all worthwhile. We were playing on a huge esplanade overlooking the lake and nature, the same views we had for dinner. Then we set up the raffia and sleeping bags and went off to play and sing songs at the top of our lungs.
Finally, we went to sleep with that beautiful starry sky and a good night story.
It was a very special day that we enjoyed very much.

¡Buenas a todos y todas!
Por aquí por el campa seguimos a tope, después de un día tan intenso de marcha, noche de canciones e historias, nos volvimos de vuelta a nuestra casita, el campa, de estos 10 días. Nos despertamos temprano e iniciamos nuestro camino de vuelta, menos mal que todavía no hacía calor y pudimos llegar al campa en buenas condiciones. Aún así cuando llegamos nos dimos una buena duchita y luego nos pusimos a recoger las habitaciones (que un poquito nos hacía falta).
Después de comer aprovechamos a echarnos una minisiesta debajo de la sombra de los árboles del campa, lo que fue toda una gozada. A continuación comenzamos todos juntos, «Tokytos» y «Nairobis», la actividad de por la tarde, que consistió en diferentes talleres por los cuáles podíamos rotar y aprender diferentes cosas. Algunos de los talleres que tuvimos fueron past salt, en el cual hicimos figuras de harina y sal y luego las decoramos, nos quedaron super bonitas, a lo mejor algún papi/mami o familiar es afortunado y le llega un regalito. Otro de los talleres que mas gustaron fueron el cuelga mascarillas, la competición de ping pong, el taller de masajes, el taller de mandalas… tuvimos un montón de actividades. Después de nuestros diferentes workshops nos preparamos para cenar y comenzar con la velada.
Tuvimos una velada diferente y que nos sirvió para descansar y poder estar a tope al día siguiente. Bajo las estrellas y con nuestros sacos de dormir y esterillas estuvimos viendo la peli de Mulán. Junto patatas y palomitas disfrutamos de nuestra noche de cine y nos fuimos a dormir.

DAY 7
Good morning everyone!
After such an intense day of walking, night of songs and stories, we went back to our little house, the campa, after these 10 days. We woke up early and started our way back, luckily it was not hot yet and we could reach the camp in good conditions. Even so, when we arrived we had a good shower and then we started to tidy up the rooms (we needed a little bit).
After lunch we took the opportunity to take a mini-nap under the shade of the trees of the camp, which was a real pleasure. Then we all started together, «Tokytos» and «Nairobis», the afternoon activity, which consisted of different workshops where we could rotate and learn different things. Some of the workshops we had were past salt, in which we made figures of flour and salt and then we decorated them, they were super nice, maybe some daddy/mommy or family member is lucky and gets a little gift. Other workshops that we enjoyed the most were the mask hanging, the ping pong competition, the massage workshop, the mandala workshop… we had a lot of activities. After our different workshops we got ready to have dinner and start the evening.
We had a different evening that helped us to rest and be at our best the next day. Under the stars and with our sleeping bags and mats we watched the movie Mulan. With chips and popcorn we enjoyed our movie night and went to sleep.

DÍA 8
¡Hola de nuevo!
Puesto que en este campa no paramos ni un minuto y son muchos los juegos que nos quedan, los «Nairobi» comenzaron con una mañana de película, bajo la banda sonora de Harry Potter y como verdaderos estudiantes de Hogwarts estuvimos jugando al Quidditch. Entre Harry Potter, Hermione y compañía tuvimos que perseguir la snicht dorada.
Mientras, los «Tokytos» estuvimos jugando al Hugry Hippos, que a diferencia del juego de mesa, los hippos (hipopótamos) fuimos nosotros. Con patinetes tuvimos que ir atrapando las bolas de colores según diferentes formas, posiciones, mas o menos personas… la verdad nos reímos un montón.
Mas tarde nos fuimos a comer, y mientras los «Nairobi» se quedaban en el campa los «Tokytos» nos íbamos a la piscina, que la echábamos de menos y más en un día de calor. Allí aprovechamos para comprar alguna chuche, tomar el sol, jugar y darnos un buen chapuzón.
Cuando llegamos al campa nos encontramos con los «Nairobi» jugando a The Risk, un juego de estrategia en el que corrimos en la conquista por territorios desconocidos. Estaban muy concentrados, que si corriendo, que si al acecho, que si escondiendonos…. la verdad que nos lo hemos pasado muy bien.
Por la tarde los «Tokytos» tuvimos un taller de arcilla en el cual sacamos nuestra creatividad a relucir y de paso nos divertimos mientras nos pringábamos las manos de arcillas. Una vez se secó todo lo pintamos y esperamos hasta que se secase.
Después de la cena, todo el campa se juntó para hacer una velada muy chula llamada Furor. Hemos cantado, bailado y animado a nuestros compañeros y compañeras. Después, los Tokytos se han ido a dormir, mientras que los mayores han hecho su ya tradicional fanegas, una reunión en la que deciden quién se lleva el premio a lo más gracioso que ha pasado durante el día. Estamos ready para el último día:(
DAY 8
Hello again!
Since we are not stopping for a minute during this camp and there are many games left, the «Nairobi» team started with a movie morning, under the soundtrack of Harry Potter and like real Hogwarts students we played Quidditch. Between Harry Potter, Hermione and company we had to chase the golden snicht.
Meanwhile, the » Tokytos» were playing Hugry Hippos, which, unlike the board game, we were the hippos (hippopotamuses). With skatebords we had to catch the coloured balls according to different shapes, positions, more or less people… the truth is that we laughed a lot.
Later we went for lunch, and while the «Nairobi» stayed in the camp, the «Tokytos» went to the swimming pool, which we missed even more during a hot day. There we bought some sweets, sunbathed, played and had a good swim.
When we arrived at the camp we found the «Nairobi» playing The Risk, a strategy game in which we competed to conquer unknown territories. They were very foccused on it, running, stalking, hiding and so on. …. We had a great time.
In the afternoon the «Tokytos» had a clay workshop in which we used our creativity and had fun while we were getting our hands dirty with clay. Once everything was dry we painted it and waited for it to dry.
After dinner, the whole camp gathered together for a very cool evening called Furor. We sang, danced and cheered up our friends. Afterwards, the Tokytos went to sleep, while the older ones had their traditional fanegas, a meeting where they decide who gets the prize for the funniest thing that happened during the day. We are ready for the last day 🙁
