DÍA 1
¡Hola, familias!
¡Qué ilusión nos hace empezar el campamento! Cuando llegamos a las instalaciones, tuvimos un rato de libre para conocer a nuestra nueva familia: todos los niños y niñas con los que conviviremos estos días ¡y también los monitores y monitoras! Hemos jugado a muchos juegos y conociendo la enorme finca que será nuestro hogar durante los próximos 15 días.
Después de merendar, nuestros monitores nos dividieron en grupos para instalarnos en nuestras habitaciones habitaciones. Y tras la cena, ¡la velada a la luz de la luna! Los pequeños jugamos a “Torchazo” y los mayores a “Matrículas”. Después hablamos un ratito con nuestros monitores y… ¡a dormir!
DAY 1
Hey families!
We are so happy that we could finally start our summer camp! When we arrived to the facilities, we had some free time to get to know our new family: all the boys and girls that we will be living with during these days and of course the team of counsellors! We played with them and got to discover the huge facilities, full of green areas and open spaces.
After having the snack, our counsellors divided us into teams and we did the rooming and we could set all our things. After dinner… night activity under the moonlight! The little ones played “Flash light” and the teens played “Number Plates”. At the end of the day, we talked about our day with the counsellors and then… time to sleep!
DÍA 2
Amanece un día nuevo en el campamento y con la emoción nos hemos levantado un poquito antes de que nuestros monitores nos levantaran.
Después de desayunar, los peques hemos jugado a The Risk, una gran aventura para ir poco a poco conquistando Manjirón. Mientras tanto, los mayores hemos jugando a una divertido juego de estrategia llamado «3 banderas» que consiste en atrapar la bandera del equipo opuesto para ganar. Después de comer y de un rato de tiempo libre, todos hemos empezado a preparar una Competición de Desafíos “Guinness Challenge” a la que jugaremos en diferentes momentos del campamento para demostrar nuestras habilidades más ocultas.
Por la tarde, hemos hecho todos juntos un juego muy veraniego: «Summer mix». Lo mejor de todo es que no hemos parado de bailar.
Por la noche, los peques jugamos al Manicomio: teníamos que descubrir qué trastornos tenían nuestros monitores para poder curarlos, ¡algunos estaban realmente locos! Y los Mayoures hemos jugado a contrabandistas, un juego donde el vencedor es que el ¡más garbanzos consiga!
DAY 2
We were so excited about being at the camp, that today we woke up even before being called by the counsellors!
After breakfast, the little ones played The Risk, a great adventure to conquer Manjirón! On the other side, the teens played a fun game of «flags», which consists of suing our strategic skills to capture the other teams flags. After lunch, we had some free time to prepared the Guiness Challenge, a competition that will take place at different moments during the camp, where we will discover the most unknown skills of each of us!
Afterwards, durign the afternoon we all played a refreshing game called «summer mix», where we mainly played a lot of short fast games and danced a lot. The best par? All our couselors were wearing wacky tourists at the beach costumes!
At night, the little ones played The Madhouse: we had to discover which kind of disorder our counsellors had in order to make them feel better, some of them were really crazy! And the teens played a short but entertaining game of «smugglers», a game where the winner is the one with the most chickpeas!
DÍA 3
Hoy ha sido el día que todos, tanto mayores como pequeñous juguemos a Humor Amarillo. Hemos ido rotando por equipos por diferentes hinchables gigantes, en los que hemos saltado hasta que no podíamos más y hemos hecho competiciones: carreras de caballos, wipe out, gladiadores, futbolín humano… ¡nos lo hemos pasado en grande!
Para comer nos han preparado unos deliciosos garbanzos, ¡nos han gustado tanto que casi todos hemos repetido! Después de comer, los mayores nos hemos ido a dar un chapuzón a la piscina, donde además hemos podido comprar chuches, ¡y teníamos la piscina entera para nosotros solos! Los pequeñous hemos tenido tiempo libre para jugar a diferentes juegos con nuestros monitores o simplemente disfrutar de estar a la sombra,… ¡No hay nada mejor que estar en la naturaleza! Por la tarde los peques hemos jugado a las 3 banderas por equipos y hemos tenido que utilizar nuestras dotes de estrategia para atrapar las otras banderas. Mientras tanto, los Mayores hemos jugado a una gymkhana de agua para refrescarnos un poco más después de las piscina.
Por la noche, los mayores hemos jugado a The Scale, un juego muy divertido donde, por equipos tenemos que encontrar a nuestros monitores, traerles hasta la base y conseguir ¡la máxima puntuación posible! Los pequeños hemos jugado a Smugglers: un dinámico juego de correr que consiste en conseguir tantos garbanzos como puedas.
¡Ha sido un día lleno de emociones y risas!
DAY 3
Today was the day for everyone, both teens and kids, to play “Humor Amarillo”. We have been rotating by teams playing in different giant inflatables. We have jumped a lot and we have done competitions: horse racing, wipe out, gladiators, human foosball … we had such a great time!
For lunch, we enjoyed some delicious chickpeas, we liked them so much that almost all of us repeated! After lunch, the teens went for a dip in the pool, where we were also able to buy sweets, and we had the whole pool to ourselves! Meanwhile, us kiddies, we had some free time to play different games with our monitors or just enjoy being in the shade… there is nothing better than being in nature!
In the afternoon, the kiddies played 3 flags in teams and we had to use our strategic skills to catch the other flags. In the meantime, the Mayoures played a water gymkhana to cool off a bit more after the swimming pool.
In the evening, we teens played The Scale, a fun game where, in teams, we had to find our monitors, bring them to the base and get the highest score possible! The little ones played Smugglers: a dynamic running game that consists of getting as many chickpeas as you can.
It has been a day full of emotions and laughter!

¡Otro día emocionante amanece en Manjirón!
Ha sido un día muy movido. Por la mañana, los pequeñous hemos calentado con una pequeña competición deportiva. Hemos jugado a muchos juegos diferentes que no conocíamos como el «foot baseball» o el «one agaisnt all». Todos juegos competitivos muy divertidos que nos ayudan a aprender a trabajar mejor ene equipo. Por otro lado, los adolescentes jugamos a un dinámico juego de «uno para ganar», una actividad inspirada en un programa de televisión para poner a prueba nuestras habilidades y destrezas. Nos lo pasamos en grande, animando a nuestros compañeros de equipo y aprendiendo que a veces no se trata de ganar, sino de pasarlo bien con nuestros compañeros.
Luego, por la tarde, hicimos algunos talleres muy interesantes con nuestros monitores, aprendiendo a hacer bolas de malabares, poniendo a prueba nuestras habilidades como artistas grifiteros o incluso estirando nuestros cuerpos con un poco de yoga. Después, nos reunimos todos para jugar con todos los monitores a las «Olimpiadas Frikis», una actividad inspirada en los juegos olímpicos pero con un montón de giros divertidos y que este año giraba en torno a los juegos olímpicos de Tokio 2021. Y luego, después de ducharnos y terminar la cena, los «pequeñous» jugaron a Khaleesis & Dragons mientras que los «Mayoures» jugaban a Mad house, fue una forma muy divertida de terminar la noche porque pudimos relacionarnos bien con nuestros monitores!

DAY 4
Another exciting day rises here in Manjirón! It has been a very eventful day. In the mormning, us kiddies warming ourselves up with a sports competicion. We played many different games we didn’t know like «foot baseball» or «one agaisnt all». All very fun competitive games that help us how to work better together as a team. On the other side of the camp, us teens played a dynamic game of «one to win», a game inspired on a TV show set to test our skills and abillities. We had a blast, cheering for our team memebers and learning that sometimes it’s not about winning but about having a great time with our mates.
Then, in the afternoon we did some interesting workshops with our counselors, learning how to make juggling balls, testing our abilities as a grifitti artist or even stretching our bodies with some yoga. After that, we all got together to play with all the counselors «Freaky Olympics», an activity inspired by the olympic games but with a lot of fun twists and this year the theme was around the Tokyo 2021 Olympic games. And then, after having a shower and finishing dinner,the «pequeñous» played Khaleesis & Dragons while the «Mayoures» played Mad house, definitely a fun way to end the night because we got to interract well with our counselors!
We can’t wait for what tomorrow ahs in store for us!
DÍA 5
Hoy, después de desayunar, tocaba limpiar nuestras habitaciones y, por supuesto, hicimos una pequeña competición porque la habitación ganadora podría ponerle un divertido reto a la habitación perdedora. ¡Esto nos motivó a todos a dejar nuestras habitaciones lo más limpias posible!
Después de esto, nos dividimos en nuestros grupos para hacer algunos juegos, nosotros los Mayoures jugamos a La Búsqueda. Un juego creado para hacernos pensar rápido y mantenernos alerta y sobre todo, ¡muy emocionante!
Después de la cena, nos tocó prepararnos para La Gala, este año con inspiración ochentera y bailamos al son de canciones de la época. Nos disfrazamos con nuestra ropa favorita y entramos en la zona de baile que los «pequeños» habían decorado.
Nos pintaron la cara con colores fluorescentes, ¡quedó increíble! Bailamos muchas canciones que ya conocíamos y algunas otras coreografías que nos enseñaron los consejeros.
DAY 5
Today after having breakfast it was time to clean up our rooms and of course we did a little competition out of it because the winning room would be able to put a fun challenge to the losing room. This motivated all of us to leave our rooms as clean as possible!
After this, we divided ourselves into our groups to do some games, us Mayoures played The Quest. A game created to make us think fast and keep us on our toes and most of all, very exciting!
After dinner, we had The Ball, this year with an 80s inspiration and we danced the night away to a remix of songs form the decado and some contemporary songs!. We dressed up with our favourite clothes and went into the dancing area that the “pequeños» had decorated.
We had fluorescent face painting -it looked amazing! We danced many songs that we knew already and some other choreographies that the counsellors showed us.
DÍA 6
Esta mañana nos hemos levantado con un día nublado y fresco, pero esto nos ha impedido ¡que nos divertiremos mucho aquí!. Así que, como no podía ser de otra manera, después de desayunar y ponernos las capuchas, los «pequeñous» hemos jugado a las «carreras de locos», un juego que consiste en crear nuestro propio vehículo con cajas de cartón, hacerlo lo más original posible,además de competir con los demás coches para llegar los primeros al «recorrido». Mientras tanto, los «mayores» no pudimos ir a navegar en kayak ya que el día estaba demasiado nublado, así que en su lugar hicimos unos breves y divertidos juegos deportivos para entrar en calor y luego hicimos un escalofriante taller de amigo invisible para crear un pequeño regalo que intercambiar con nuestros compañeros. ¡De este taller salieron cosas realmente creativas!
Después de comer, nos relajamos un poco y luego jugamos todos juntos a un divertido juego de Party Rock. Nos dividimos en equipos y jugamos a muchos juegos de mesa clásicos como el tabú, el pictionary, la mímica, ¿Quién soy yo?, etc. ¡Fue muy divertido y nuestros monitores estaban vestidos de personajes divertidos y coloridos, lo que lo hizo aún más gracioso!
Para la actividad nocturna, los consejeros nos tenían preparada una sorpresa, ya que nuestro comportamiento fue tan bueno y fue un momento histórico para ver, la actividad nocturna consistió en ver el partido de la Eurocopa de España contra Italia. ¡Lo vimos al aire libre, bajo las estrellas de la noche y aunque finalmente España no ganó celebramos cada gol como si lo hubiera hecho!
DAY 6
This morning we woke up to a cloudy day and cooler day but this didn’t stop us from having fun at camp. So of course, after breakfast and putting our hoodies on, the “pequeñous” we played “wacky races”, a game that consists on creating our very own vehicle out of cardboard boxes, making it as original as possible and competing with the other cars to get through the “course” the first! Meanwhile, the “mayores” couldn’t go kayaking since the day was too cloudy, so instead we did some short and fun sports games to warm up and then did a chill secret Santa workshop to create a small gift to exchange with our roommates. Some really creative things came out of that workshop!
After lunch, we relaxed a bit and then all together played a fun game of Party Rock. We were divided into teams and we got to play many classic board games such as taboo, pictionary, mimic, Who am I?, etc… It was really fun and our counselors were dressed as crazy funky characters which made it even more fun!
For the night activity, the counselors had a surprise prepared for us, since our behaviour was so good and it was a historic moment to watch, the night activity consisted of watching the Eurocup match of Spain vs Italy. We watched it outside, under the night stars and even though Spain didn’t win, we celebrated each goal as they did!
DÍA 7
¡Qué día tan soleado y divertido ha sido hoy!
Hoy, los pequeñous han jugado a juegos dinámicos por la mañana. Hemos empezado con un juego de memoria que ponía a prueba nuestra capacidad de recordar dibujos mientras corríamos por el campo intentando que nos pillaran. Después, hemos cambiado a un juego de estrategia llamado «Stratego», en el que teníamos que encontrar escondida entre diferentes personajes la bandera del otro equipo para ganar. Mientras tanto, los Mayoures jugaron en los juegos deportivos de la mañana, para activarnos y por supuesto para aprender a jugar en equipo.
Por la tarde, tras relajarnos un poco en el tiempo libre después de la comida, los más jóvenes hicimos un taller de arcilla muy chulo que luego intercambiamos con algunos de nuestros compañeros como regalo del «amigo invisible». Los adolescentes por su parte, se dividieron en dos grupos, retándose a diferentes, divertidas y locas tareas para ver quién era el equipo con más habilidades, pero realmente lo mejor es que ¡nos reímos mucho!
Por la noche, todo el campamento tuvo que escapar de un apocalipsis Zombie, porque nuestro campamento estaba siendo invadido por una horda de zombies! nos dividimos en equipos para escapar de ellos, desbloquear los códigos y encontrar todas las curas y poder curar el campamento! DAY 7
What a sunny day and fun day it has been today!
Today, the kiddie played dynamic games in the morning. We started with a game of memory that challenged our ability to remember drawings while we ran around the field trying to be caught. After that, we changed to a strategic game called «stratego», where we had to find the hidden among different characters the flag of the other team to win. Meanwhile, the teens played in morning sports games, to activate ourselves and of course to learn how to play as a team.
In the afternoon, after relaxing a bit during the free time after lunch, us kiddies did a really cool clay workshop that we later exchanged with some of our mates as a «Secret Santa» gift. The teens on the other side, were divided in two groups, challenging each other to different, fun and crazy tasks to see who was the team with the most skills, but really the best part is that we laughed a lot!
At night, the whole camp had to escape from a Zombie apocalypse, because our camp was being invaded by a hoard of zombies! we divided ourselves into teams to escape them, unlock the codes and find all the cures and be able to cure the camp! Although it was a bit scary for some of us, we had a lot of fun!
DÍA 8
Esta mañana, por fin, los «Mayoures» hemos podido ir en kayak. Ha sido una forma estupenda de refrescarnos en este día soleado. Mientras estábamos en el campamento, los niños nos quedamos creando «Holiday Passport» y aprendiendo sobre diferentes fiestas del mundo como la Tomatina, el Descenso del Sello, la Semana Santa, el Summer Bolly, etc.
Después de comer y de haber descansado bajo sombra del árbol, y mientras los niños se divertían haciendo kayak, refrescándose en el lago de buitrago; nosotros los «Mayoures» preparábamos las actividades de la Feria para los niños. Teníamos preparados diferentes puestos como Karaoke de canto, preguntas de adivinanzas, peleas de churros, tareas de papel de bola, un puesto de fútbol donde les enseñamos también algunos datos divertidos sobre este deporte.
DAY 8
This morning, finally us «Mayoures» were able to go kayaking! It was a great way to refresh ourselves on this sunny day. While at camp, us kiddies stayed at the camp creating «Holiday Passports» and learning about different holidays around the world like the Tomatina, Descenso del Sello, Easter, Summer Bolly, etc.
After having lunch and chilling under the cool shade of the tree, while the kiddies were having fun kayaking, getting refreshed in the lake of buitrago; us «Mayoures» were preparing the activities for the Fair for the kiddies. We had different stalls prepared like singing Karaoke, guessing questions, noddles fights, ballon paper tasks, a football stall where we taught them a few fun facts about the sport as well!
DAY 9
¡Otro día soleado amanece en el campamento
Después de desayunar y ordenar un poco nuestras habitaciones nos fuimos directamente a nuestras actividades. Los pequeñous jugaron a una actividad dinámica llamada «Hungry Hippos», en la que nos dividimos en equipos y cada uno de nosotros representaba un color que se elegía sacando una bola de color al azar. Por supuesto, al igual que en el juego de mesa, subidos a uno patines, teníamos que recoger el mayor número de bolas posible para poder ganar.
Mientras tanto, los Mayoures también jugaron a otra actividad inspirada en el clásico juego de mesa «acorazado». Donde teníamos que crear, por equipos, nuestros propios barcos hechos de cartón e intentar embarcar a los otros barcos en una batalla de globos de agua. Sin duda, ¡una forma estupenda de refrescarnos en este soleado día!
Después de comer, los pequeñous fueron a refrescarse a la piscina del pueblo y volvieron frescos al campamento para que los dos grupos pudiéramos prepararnos para preparar nuestras cosas para la excursión. Merendamos y salimos sobre las 19 para evitar el calor de la tarde. Una vez que llegamos dejamos nuestras cosas abajo, nos refrescamos y empezamos a jugar algunos juegos cortos mientras esperábamos nuestra cena junto al lago. DAY 9
Another sunny day has risen here at camp!
After having breakfast and tidying our rooms a bit we went straight to our activities. The kiddies played a dynamic activity called “Hungry Hippos”, where we were divided into teams and each of us represented a color that was decided by drawing a colored ball at random. Of course, just like the boardgame, on top skates we had to collect as many balls as possible to be able to win!
Meanwhile, the teens also played another activity inspired by the classic board game “battleship”! Where we had to create, by teams, our own ships made out of cardboard and try to ship the other ships in a battle of water balloons. Definitely a great way to refresh ourselves on this sunny day!
After lunch, the kiddies went to refresh themselves at the town pool and come back refreshed to the camp so that both the groups could get ready to pack our things for the hike! We had our snack and left around 19 to avoid the heat of the afternoon. Once we arrived we left our things down, refreshed ourselves and started playing some short games while we waited for our dinner by the lake. After dinner, the counselors got us in a circle to sing some songs together and tell us stories about the constellations before going to bed. There’s nothing more than the view of the night sky to get a good night’s sleep!
DÍA 10
Hemos dormido tan bien que nos hemos levantado frescos y listos para empezar el día. Recogimos nuestras cosas, nos pusimos los pantalones cortos y fuimos a desayunar junto a las preciosas vistas del embalse. ¡En cuanto terminamos, limpiamos el camping y nos preparamos para volver al campamento. Mientras caminábamos nuestros monitores nos refrescaron con agua y en cuanto llegamos de vuelta, nos pusimos los trajes de baño y empezamos una pelea de agua con nuestros monitores! Fue muy divertido y nos reímos mucho. Pero, por supuesto, ¡después nos fuimos directamente a las duchas para limpiarnos!
Aunque la caminata fuese fácil con el calor acabámos cansados entonces después del almuerzo nuestros monitores nos dejaron dormir una siesta relajante bajo la sombra de los muchos árboles que rodean el campamento. Para la actividad de la tarde hicimos algunos talleres interesantes en los que los consejeros mostraron algunos de los talentos que tienen y nos enseñaron algunas cosas nuevas como la creación de arte de graffiti, dibujar mandalas o escribir nuestros nombres en árabe.
Para la actividad nocturna vimos la nueva película Luka, ¡fue una muy buena manera de terminar un día intenso pero divertido!
DAY 10
Good morning from the views of the reservoir!
We slept so well that we woke up refreshed and ready to get started the day. We picked up our things, changed into our shorts and went to have breakfast by the beautiful views. As soon as we were finished, we cleaned up the camp site and got ready to go back to the camp.While we walked our counselors kept refreshing us with water and as soon as we arrived back, we got our swimsuits on and started a water fight with our counselors! It was so much fun and we laughed a lot! But of course, after that we went straight to the showers to clean ourselves up!
Since the hike drained most of our energy, after lunch our counselors let us have a relaxing nap under the shades of the many trees around the camp. For the afternoon activity we did some interesting workshops were the counselors showed some of the cool talents that they have and taught us a few new things like how to create cool graffiti art, drawing mandalas or writing our names in arabic!
For the night activity we all watched the new movie Luka, it was a really nice way to end an intense but fun day!
DÍA 11
¡Un nuevo día en el campamento! Hoy hemos jugado a una de nuestras actividades favoritas: ¡la multiaventura! Por la mañana les tocó a los «pequeñous» disfrutar de ella. Divididos en pequeños grupos, hemos probado todas las actividades que nos ofrecían los monitores: slackline, futbolín humano, tiro con arco, escalada y tirolina. Las probamos todas y fue muy divertido. En el otro lado del campamento, los adolescentes jugaban a un divertido juego de «destruir el huevo». Teníamos que crear una nave espacial para proteger nuestro huevo de ser aplastado por las bolsas de los otros equipos. Es como romper una piñata y nos reímos mucho. ¡Si perdíamos, los consejeros podían abrir un huevo en nuestras cabezas pero si ganábamos nos tocaba hacer lo mismo con nuestros consejeros! Desgraciadamente hoy, ¡hemos perdido casi todos!
Por la tarde, mientras los «pequeños» jugaban a un divertido juego de «caza de acertijos», en el que tenían que buscar acertijos por las instalaciones y resolverlos; ¡nosotros, los «Mayoures», tuvimos nuestra oportunidad de realizar actividades de multiaventura!
Más tarde, por la noche, volvimos a dividirnos en nuestros grupos. Los adolescentes disfrutamos mucho con la actividad de acrosport que nos prepararon los monitores. ¡Fue genial poner a prueba nuestras habilidades físicas mientras nos reíamos! Y los chavales, por su parte, ¡jugaron a una dinámica de la Búsqueda! Un juego en el que teníamos que pensar rápido para ganar puntos para nuestros equipos mientras completamos diferentes tipos de mini retos como: buscar a alguien que le guste el color azul, encontrar a una persona que lleve gafas, responder a unas preguntas de trivial, etc. Ha sido un día muy movido y estamos deseando ver lo que va a pasar mañana.
DAY 11
A new day again at camp! Today we played one of our favorite activities: multi adventure! In the morning it was the turn of the “pequeñous” to enjoy it. Divided into small groups, we tried all of the activities that counselors offered: slackline, human foosball, archery, rock climbing and zipline. We tried them all and it was great fun! On the other side of the camp, the teens were playing a fun game of “destroy the egg”. We had to create a spaceship to protect our egg from being squashed by the bags of the other teams. Kind of like breaking a piñata and we laughed a lot! If we lost, the counselors could open an egg on our heads but if we won it was our turn to do the same on our counselors! Unfortunately today, we mostly lost!
In the afternoon, while the “pequeños” were playing a fun game of “riddle hunt”, where they had to look for riddles around the facilities and solve them; us “Mayoures” had our go at multi adventure activities!
Later at night, we were once again divided into our groups. Us teens, we really enjoyed the acrosport activity that our monitors prepared for us. It was great to test our physical abilities while we laughed! And the kiddies on the other hand played a dynamic game of the Quest! A game where we had to think fast to earn points for our teams while completing different types of mini tasks such as: looking for someone who likes the color blue, finding a person who wears glasses, answering some trivia questions, etc. It was a very eventful day and we can’t wait to see what’s going to happen tomorrow!
