DÍA 1
Nuestro primer día en el campamento, ¡qué emoción! Al llegar al campamento hemos estado tranquilamente tomando nuestro sandwhich a la sombra de los árboles de Manjirón y hablando con nuestro monitores, familiarizándonos con las instalaciones.
Durante la tarde hemos jugado a juegos cortos y que nos ayudaron a conocernos mejor mientras esperábamos que llegasen los demás acampados. Una vez juntos, nos hemos ido con nuestros monitores a instalarnos en nuestras habitaciones.
Después de cenar hemos jugando a «The Scale», un juego divertido que consiste en buscar a nuestros monitores y traerles a la base para ganar puntos, o restarlos dependiendo del monitor. Una buena manera de acabar nuestro primer día de campamento.
DAY 1
Our first day at camp, how exciting! Once we have arrived to camp, we were chilling under the shade of the tress while we ate our sandwhiches while we got to know our councelors a little more. During the afternoon, we have been playing short games while we waited for our mates to arrive to camp. One we were all together, we got seperated into our room «families» and got instaled in our own rooms.
After dinner, we played a game called «The Scale», a fun game that consists on findaing our councelors and bringing them back to the base to add or subtract points depending on who we caught. Definitely a fun way to end the first day of camp!
DÍA 2
¡Un nuevo día amanece en el campamento!
Hoy hemos empezado la mañana con mucha animación porque hemos jugado a «Summer Mix», un popurri de juegos sobre el verano y con mucho baile. Por la tarde nos ha tocado jugar aa juegs XXL, como el ajedrez humano, tres en raya, Kho kho o el buscaminas. Juegos que no solo estimulan mente si no que también nos requiere agilidad corporal.
Durante la velada hemos jugado a dos juegos, «torchazo» y «sardinas enlatadas», amos juegos sencillos pero no así menos divertidos. Sobre todo torchazo porque lo monitores tenían que adivinar nuestros nombres mientras nosotros escondíamos nuestra identidad.
DAY 2
A new day rises in Manjirón!
Today we started with a refreshing game called «Summer mix», a fun game with a llot of different tasks that remind me of summer, fun and dancing!
For the afternoon activity we played XXL games, where you could find games like Human chess, tic tac toe or mine sweeper. A fun way of not only challenging one’s mind but also one’s physical skills. And for the night games, we played «flishlight» and upside down hide & seek. During «flashlight» we laughed a lot since our counccelors had to guess our names while we tried to hide our identity as best we could.
DÍA 3
Un día soleado amanece en Manjirón y hoy hemos jugado a «Master and Commander», divididos en equipos teníamos que construir nuestros propio barco, bandera y grito de guerra. Después de haber hecho todo eso, nos ha tocado ir al tablero y buscar flotas enemigas y hundirlas.
Por la tarde, después de comer hemos vuelto a jugar a juegos cortos pero esta vez para mezclarnos con otra gente de nuestro campamento con la que no solemos hablar. Después de un rato, cambiamos de juego y nuevamente divididos en equipos tuvimos que buscar por las instalaciones acertijos e intentar adivinarlos correctamente para ser el primer equipo en completar el pasaporte.
Durante la velada, un juego llamado «The Quest», inspirado en varios programas de TV, teníamos que ir trayendo una serie de cosas para acumular puntos y así ganar el juego, aunque la realidad es que la mejor parte es que es un juego para reírnos más que para ganar.
DAY 3
A new and sunny day appears in Majirón. Today we played «Master & Commander», a fun dinamic which consisted in, by teams, building a boat, creating a war cry and a name for our team. After that first part had been, we then went to the life size board to try and find enemy floats and sink team.
during the afternoon we played some more games to get to know other people at camp that we usually don’t talk to and further integrate ourselves in the group. After that, we changed to a gam called «Riddle hunt», where we had to find riddles around the facililties, divided in teams and be the first team to correctly answer the riddles and complete the stamps on our passport.
For the night activity, a fun game called «The Quest», inspired by several game shows, it’s a dinamic hat kept us on our feet and made as work as a group to gain points but really the best part of it was just to enjoy while being silly.
