Frequently asked questions

From Natuaventura we will make every effort to get to nearby health centres and hospitals, and our insurance provides an assistance service to respond to any emergency.

They will be under the supervision of their teachers and our direct contact with the Madrid office. The teachers sleep at the accommodation and keep an eye on the children 24 hours a day.

For all our trips we ask for a list of allergies and intolerances before departure to pass on to the venue’s kitchen team when preparing the menu. We choose accommodation with a balanced menu and, at the school’s request, we can provide 4 meals a day including breakfast, lunch, a snack, and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, do not worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the trip your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash whatever they need. On the kit list we ask for a variety of clothing to avoid this kind of situation.

If your child needs to take any medication, their teacher will be responsible for keeping it and giving it to them at each scheduled dose. Children do not need to bring a first aid kit — if they need any other medicine, the teachers will arrange for it to be provided, after a visit to the doctor or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card. The trips include accident insurance, but we will use the health card in the event of a visit to the doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We provide transport from the school and for transfers to activities when needed.

This decision is up to the school in question. From our side, we do not recommend it and it is not necessary for them to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact the teachers at any time on the number they share with you. You will always be informed of any incident.

There are no extra expenses, but we do recommend a small amount of pocket money to occasionally buy an ice cream, sweets, or something similar on excursions.

It depends on the accommodation — rooms are usually triple or quadruple. Depending on what the school decides, either the teachers can organise the room allocation or the children can sort it themselves upon arrival.
