Multi-adventure Camp.

At this multi-adventure camp we stay at the Alta-Lai summer camp facilities, located in a privileged area of the Serranía de Cuenca, an unmatched natural setting close to unique landscapes.

The camp is 3 hours from Madrid and just 1 hour from the beaches of Valencia, which we will also visit.

Cuenca Multiaventura is designed for boys and girls aged between 6 and 17. This ensures a programme full of dynamic activities tailored to this age range. Some activities focus on group cohesion and are designed and carried out with all participants in mind. These activities aim to strengthen group living and encourage older members of the group to connect with younger ones.

Divided into numerous age groups. For boys and girls aged 6 to 17.

Facilities

Alta-Lai

The facilities are designed for running summer camps. They are set in the heart of nature yet just 7 minutes from the village centre where all necessary services are available.

We have a complete set of amenities within a large estate featuring swimming pools, sports areas, multi-adventure facilities, large wooded green spaces, an indoor dining room, separate male and female toilet blocks with individual showers, and an on-site kitchen.

For accommodation we have cabins and a hostel. Both are very similar to each other and we distribute ourselves between them depending on the number of participants and their ages.

As with all our camps, we also have support vehicles, sports equipment, games materials and organisational phones for calling home.

In the surroundings of the camp there are natural pools, a river swimming area and green spaces.

Location and transport

Camp Location

The Cuenca Multiaventura summer camp combines a programme full of games in the surrounding area and the hostel’s indoor spaces with major multi-adventure activities. These include climbing and via ferrata. For these, the group travels to a nearby mountain area set up for teaching this sport.

The location of the hostel supports the development of recreational activities in a unique natural setting. It allows for mountain hikes, archery and abseiling. This is further complemented by a visit to Terra Mítica and a beach day in Valencia.

All of this is combined with team sports games, workshops and evening activities. Participants will also be able to enjoy the Humor Amarillo inflatable gymkhana.

Frequently asked questions

We have nearby health centres, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurers to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team of one monitor for every 8 participants. We also have additional organisational staff, such as the camp coordinator and other support personnel. The team of monitors and the coordinator live at the facility and are watching over the children 24 hours a day.

At all our camps we have a kitchen team on site. We prepare a balanced menu adapted to the activities of each day. We always serve 4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children are eating. If during the camp your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help them and wash whatever they need. In the kit list we ask for a good variety of clothing to cover all the days of camp.

If your child needs to take any medication, their cabin/room monitor will be responsible for keeping it safe and giving it to them at each dose you have specified. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will take care of obtaining it for them, after a doctor’s visit or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health insurance card or a photocopy, which we will collect on arrival at the camp. The camp includes accident insurance, but we will use the card if they need to see a doctor for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We offer transport from Madrid and Las Rozas.

Yes, they can bring a mobile phone, but they will not have it with them day to day. We will give them the phone so they can call home every 3–4 days. These calls can be made with their own phone or with phones we will lend them. It is not necessary to bring a mobile phone. You will also be able to contact us at any time on the emergency number. You will always be informed if there is any incident.

The camp is all-inclusive, but they can bring a small amount of pocket money to buy a soft drink or snacks during excursions.

Each day the campers have periods of free time to enjoy the camp in their own way and spend time with their friends. After lunch and before dinner they will have this time. During this time the monitors remain attentive to the camp and we offer optional activities such as sports games.

In Cuenca we have rooms in stone cabins and in the hostel, sleeping 6 to 14 people. We organise the rooms by talking with the children themselves on the first day, after organising games so they can get to know each other. We manage it so that they are with other campers of similar ages and can be with their friends if they came together. If they don’t know anyone, don’t worry — we will take care of it. The rooms are not mixed; boys and girls sleep separately.

We do not have a scheduled parents’ day at the camp, but if you would like to visit your child please get in touch with us. On the way home, the child can be collected by their parent or a person designated by you and authorised in writing before pick-up.
