Multiadventure Camp in the Mountains.

At Natuaventura we explore the natural beauty and exciting outdoor activities of the Multiadventure Summer Camp in the Gredos Mountains, offering an unforgettable experience for young adventurers.

Gredos is a camp to disconnect, an opportunity to leave behind all the technology we use in our daily lives and reconnect with nature and unleash our most adventurous side.

The Gredos multiadventure summer camp we organise combines this vision of immersion in nature with one of the most comprehensive activity programmes we offer. A true mountain adventure to enjoy exciting activities such as mountain trails, bivouac, rope garden, humour games, river and natural pool bathing, and much more.

Staying in tents, we split into two groups with activities adapted to the ages of the participants, from 7 to 16 years old.

Facilities

Tent accommodation

The municipal facility at Hoyos del Collado, built specifically to host summer camps, serves as our home during the camp. It is located just 2 minutes from the village centre.

The facility has amenities and comforts that make our stay there very pleasant. We have tree-lined and illuminated camping areas, separate male and female toilets with individual showers, a covered dining room, kitchen, and equipment storage…

Located right in the Sierra de Gredos, it also offers an incomparable setting for our activities in the natural environment, with highlights including natural pools, a river with a bathing area, and extensive green spaces.

We also complement the facilities with everything needed for the best camp experience, including a first-aid kit, support vehicles, sports and recreational equipment, emergency phones, and organisation phones to call home, etc.

Location and transport

Camp Location

Our Gredos tent multiadventure camp takes place near the village of Hoyos del Collado. This small municipality is located in the heart of Ávila, and belongs to the community of Piedrahita. The camp takes its name from its location right in the Sierra de Gredos.

Within this natural environment, several lakes stand out, such as the Laguna Grande de Gredos, the Laguna del Barco and the Cinco Lagunas. At the same time, other notable features of this area are the diversity of its flora and the great interest of its geomorphology. It also has a warm climate during the day and cool at night, which offers great opportunities for carrying out activities.

Thus, Hoyos del Collado is an ideal place for a camp, and its mountain soul connects directly with the philosophy of the tent multiadventure camp.

Frequently asked questions

We have a nearby health centre, as well as an assistance service provided by our insurance, to respond to any emergency.

We work with a team that has one monitor for every 8 participants. We also have extra organisational staff, such as the camp coordinator and other support personnel. The monitor team and the coordinator live at the facility and are on hand for the children 24 hours a day.

In all our camps we have a kitchen team at the camp itself. We prepare a balanced menu adapted to the activities of each day. We always serve 4 meals a day: breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, and dinner. If your child has any food allergy, don’t worry — they will have an adapted menu as similar as possible to what the other children eat. If during the camp your child tells you they are not happy with the food, PLEASE LET US KNOW — it is a priority for us and if we are informed we will resolve it immediately.

There is no laundry service, but if a child runs out of clean clothes we will help and wash whatever they need. In the equipment list we ask for a variety of clothing for every day of camp.

If your child needs to take any medication, their cabin/room monitor will be responsible for keeping it and giving it to them at each dose you have indicated. Children do not need to bring a first-aid kit; if they need any other medicine we will provide it after a visit to the doctor or after speaking with you if it is something minor.

Each child must bring their health card/photocopy and we will collect it upon arrival at the camp. The camp includes accident insurance but we will use the card if a visit to the doctor is needed for a common illness.

Yes, it is an optional service. We have transport from Madrid and Las Rozas.

Yes, they can bring a mobile phone but they will not have it on them day to day. We will give them their phone to call home every 3–4 days. These calls can be made with their own phone or with phones we will lend them. It is not necessary to bring a mobile phone. You can also contact us at any time on the emergency phone. You will always be informed if there is any incident.

The camp is all-inclusive but they can bring a small amount of pocket money to buy a soft drink or snacks on excursions.

Every day campers have free time to enjoy the camp in their own way and spend time with their friends. After lunch and before dinner they will have that time. During that time the monitors are still watching over the camp and we have optional activities such as sports games.

In Gredos we have tents for 3 to 4 people. We organise the tents by talking with the children themselves on the first day after organising games so they can get to know each other. We manage it so they are with other campers of similar ages and can be with their friends if they came together. If they don’t know anyone, don’t worry — we take care of it. The tents are not mixed; boys and girls sleep separately.

We do not have a planned parents’ day at the camp, but if you want to visit your child please contact us. On the return home, the child can be picked up by their father or mother, or by a person designated by you and authorised in writing before the pick-up.
